Howell at St. John Vianney, 3:45 p.m.

Brick 10, Middletown North 3

Junior Reese Achille guided Brick (2-1) past Middletown North (1-2) with another 6 goal game. Achille surpassed 100 career goals and finished the game at a total of 101. Junior Madison Lacerda scored 3 goals and added 1 assist while Sophomore Lindsay Giovine added 1 goal. Sophomores Ana Cobian-Ramos, Vienna Skowronski, and Irelyn Maloney each added an assist while Sophomore goalie Isabella Davila recorded 11 saves in the win for the Dragons.

Freehold Township 15, Donovan Catholic 4

Seniors Chloe Walters and Alyssa Costagliola guided Freehold Township (2-1) past Donovan Catholic (0-1) with 5 goals apiece. The 5 goals for Walters was a career-high while the 5 goals for Costagliola matched a career-high from last season. Freshman Addison Freyre scored 2 goals and 1 assist. Senior Abbi Lemberger added 1 goal and 1 assist while Juniors Reese Metcalfe and Maddie Reiser added goal 1 in the win for the Patriots.

Juniors Gianna DelliSanti and Maddie Koehler each scored 2 goals in the loss for the Griffins.

Brick Memorial 13, St. Rose 6

Junior Ella Kennedy scored 4 goals and Senior Brianna Werner scored 3 goals to guide Brick Memorial (3-0) past St. Rose (0-2). Brick Memorial’s 3 wins to start the season matches their win total from last season. Senior Paige Fraser scored 2 goals and dished out 2 assists while Junior Charlotte Kampf scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist. Senior Lyla Gelnaw and SophomoreS Lyla Blood both scored 1 goal and 1 assist. Senior Adriana Lierni and Junior Makayla Doheny each tallied 1 assist in the win for the Mustangs.

 

Independence Division

New Egypt 15, Neptune 2

Junior Madison Adam scored 7 goals and recorded 2 assists to lead New Egypt (1-0) past Neptune (1-3). Junior Aimee Kovacs scored 4 goals and 1 assist while Senior Kelly Thoens and Freshman Lucia Sloan each scored 2 goals in the win for the Warriors.

Manchester 8, Pinelands 7

Long Branch 14, Jackson Liberty 2

Senior Roselin Reyes-Lopez’s career-high 4 goal and 3 assist effort paced Long Branch (1-1) in its first win of the season against Jackson Liberty (0-2). Senior Sherline Reyes-Lopez scored 2 goals to go along with 1 assist while Juniors Lauren Maxwell and Jazmin Rabadan each added 2 goals for the Green Wave. Juniors Maria-Luisa Mendes Martins and Luiza De Oliveira also scored 1 goal each in the win. Senior goalie Katherine Perez-Mora recorded 7 saves for Long Branch.

For the Lions, Junior Sophia Baliatico and Senior Kayla Simon each recorded a goal.

Monmouth Regional 11, Ranney 3

A 4 goal performance from Senior Katherine Parent helped Monmouth Regional (1-1) defeat Ranney (1-1) for their first win of the season. Senior Madison Natale also recorded a hat trick with 3 goals while Junior Ava Diedrichsen and Freshman Julianna Emerson each scored 2 goals in the win for the Falcons. Senior goalie Mareli Ocelotl recorded 5 saves.

Ranney Junior Kennedy Poser scored 2 goals while Sophomore Alexa Herbst scored 1 goal.

 

Nondivisional

Trinity Hall 14, Wall 2

Senior Mary Catherine O’Connor’s 3 goal hat trick led a balanced scoring effort in a Trinity Hall (2-1) win over Wall (0-4). Senior Lily Wood scored 2 goals and recorded 2 assists while Senior Bridie Fitzgerald, Sophomore O’Malley Eldridge, and Freshman Lucy Mallgrave each added 2 goals. Senior Kristen Gioia, Senior Addie Nash, and Sophomore Rosie Spiropoulos all scored 1 goal in the win for the Monarchs.

Juniors Ella Schaible and Hannah Leete each scored a goal in the loss for the Crimson Knights.

Point Pleasant Boro 12, Jackson Memorial 3

Junior Lily Scalabrini’s hat trick helped Point Boro (1-1) roll past Jackson Memorial (0-1) for their first win of the season. Scalabrini finished with 3 goals and 2 assists. Senior Kayden Cilento and Junior Francesca Skowronski each scored 2 goals. Five other Panthers scored goals including Sophomore quartet Aubrey Gilbert, Lucy Hauser, Reilly Wahl, and Stella Stevenson as well as Junior Zoey Bastidas. Junior goalie Sloane Schwertheim recorded 7 saves in the victory for the Panthers.

Red Bank Regional 7, Red Bank Catholic 1

A strong defensive performance as well as a strong scoring performance from Junior duo Karlie Ruland and Chloe Keating lifted Red Bank Regional (2-1) past rival Red Bank Catholic (2-2). Ruland tied her career high of 4 goals in a single game in addition to recording 1 assist while Keating scored 3 goals. Senior Caleigh Gilbert recorded 2 assists while Freshman Grace Pierson added 1 assist. Junior goalie Nora Tavares recorded 8 saves in the win for the Bucs.

Senior Malia D’Alterio scored the lone goal for the Caseys while Sophomore goalie Cecilia Granatelli recorded 7 saves in the loss.

Colts Neck 12, Toms River North 8

Senior duo Brynn Mahoney and Hannah Perlman led Colts Neck (1-0) to a win over Toms River North (0-2) in their first game of the season. Perlman finished with 4 goals and 1 assist while Mahoney scored 4 goals. Junior Jordyn Hansel finished with a 3 goal hat trick of her own, the first of her career. Senior Katie Dichter added 1 goal and 2 assists while Junior Julia Tormey added 2 assists. Junior goalie Lilly Cutrone recorded 5 saves in the win for the Cougars.

Middletown South 12, Toms River East 5

Manasquan 9, Holmdel 6

The inaugural season for 1st year head coach Kristen Pezzullo is off to a strong start as Manasquan (1-0) defeated Holmdel (2-1). Pezzullo replaced Maria Eldridge who stepped down from coaching after winning 277 games at Manasquan in her 22 years on the sidelines. Freshman Chloe Stevens recorded a 3 goal hat trick in her varsity debut. Sophomore Dylan Carnahan scored 2 goals and 2 assists while Freshman Olive O’Reilly scored 2 goals. Junior Ellie Sitar scored 1 goal and recorded 3 assists while Senior Sophia Evans scored 1 goal and Sophomore Anella Petracco recorded 1 assist. Junior goalie Alexandra Stamos recorded 8 saves in the win for the Warriors.

Junior Avery Dubin scored a team-high 2 goals for Holmdel while Senior Claudia Diaz, Sophomore Charlotte Wall, Freshman Ryann Buchan, and Senior Tessa Pinnero scored 1 goal each for the Hornets. Junior Victoria Imburgia recorded 19 saves in the loss.

Central 13, Toms River South 5

Freshman Addison Frulio led the charge for Central (2-1) in the win over Toms River South (2-1). Frulio scored 3 goals and recorded 1 assist. Senior Ryann Dunn scored 2 goals to go along with 1 assist while Junior Brianna Nelson and Seniors Samantha DeMarco and Jenna Robinson each scored 2 goals. Sophomore Logan Lisewski finished with 1 goal and 1 assist and Senior Mia Treney scored 1 goal in the win for the Golden Eagles.

Shore 18, Manalapan 7

Senior Gabby O’Brien matched her career-high for goals and points in a runaway Shore (2-0) victory over Manalapan (2-1). O’Brien scored 6 goals and recorded 4 assists to lead the Blue Devils. Senior Kendall Bennett scored 3 goals and distributed 4 assists while Sophomore Marielle Montenegro scored 3 goals. Senior Cami Grella scored 2 goals and 2 assists as Freshman Scarlett Watson scored 2 goals. Senior Teagan Harmon scored 1 goal and 1 assist and Senior Jasmin Okuszka scored 1 goal in the win for the Blue Devils.

Sophomore Aryelle Stein and Junior Madison Alcantara each scored 3 goals for Manalapan while Junior Charlotte Paulin scored 1 goal.

 

Non-Conference

Lawrenceville 14, Rumson-Fair Haven 13

Rumson-Fair Haven (1-1) lost an overtime heartbreaker to Lawrenceville Prep (1-1). Senior Daisen Iwan battled with a career-high 6 goals while Senior Mia Milkowski added 2 goals and 1 assist and Senior Kendall Carcaterra added 2 goals. Sophomore Chloe Kelly and Senior Sophie Yockel each scored 1 goal and 1 assist while Senior Rachel James scored 1 goal. Sophomore Sydney Kiernan recorded 12 saves in the loss for the Bulldogs.
