Senior Eddie Lopez and junior Nate Tyburczy each scored 15 points and the Lions (6-16) stormed past the Green Dragons (11-12) and into the Coaches Cup quarterfinals on Monday.

Junior Jamel Pitts led Brick with 15 points.

(7) St. Rose 64, (10) Donovan Catholic 44

(1) Pinelands 43, (17) New Egypt 40

Junior Chris Husni led a balanced offense with 11 points and senior Josh Barongo and junior Tyler Garcia each added 10 as the Wildcats (15-6) slipped past the Warriors (10-13) and into the Coaches Cup quarterfinals Monday, when Pinelands will host No. 8 St. John Vianney.

Junior Paul Kennedy scored 12 points, senior Nolan Arnold poured in 11 and senior Ryan Reynolds netted nine to lead New Egypt.

(8) St. John Vianney 59, (9) Barnegat 25

Junior Justin Togans poured in 25 points to go with 12 rebounds and the Lancers (6-18) raced past the Bengals (10-12) and into the Coaches Cup quarterfinals Monday at top-seeded Pinelands. Junior Dan Lavan also poured in 17 points for St. John Vianney.

(2) Toms River East 61, (15) Raritan 53

Sophomore Brady Gillen led three Toms River East players in double-figure scoring with 20 points and classmate Tommy Intintola posted a double-double to lead the Raiders (11-10) past the Rockets (10-12) and into the Coaches Cup quarterfinals Monday against No. 7 St. Rose.

Intintola finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds and fellow sophomore Carson Frazier chipped in 11 points for Toms River East. Sophomore Mario Diamantis led Raritan with 18 points.

(5) Manalapan 80, (12) Keansburg 49

Junior Joe Farino scored 23 points and freshman Josh Sosinov threw in 16 to lead the Braves to a one-sided win over the Titans that earns Manalapan a spot in the Coaches Cup quarterfinals on Monday.

Senior I’Shon Young led Keansburg with 14 points.

(3) Red Bank 76, Freehold Boro 54

Junior Justin Valentino scored 26 points, drained four three-pointers and dished out six assists to spark the Bucs (8-15) to a win over the Colonials (7-17) that secures them a spot in the Coaches Cup quarterfinals Monday vs. No. 11 Middletown North.

Sophomore Wyatt Hegner added 13 points and seven rebounds and junior Will Galligan pitched in 11 points, seven assists and four steals for Red Bank. Senior Max Girandola led Freehold Boro with 18 points, while senior Mike Cush added 12 and junior J.J. Ranaudo nine in the loss.

(4) Toms River North 64, (13) Neptune 43

Sophomore Jake Greenberg scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the first half and the Mariners (8-15) bombarded the Scarlet Fliers (7-14) over the first 16 minutes on the way to advancing to the Coaches Cup quarterfinals Monday against No. 5 Manalapan.

Senior Jayden Thomas added 16 points for Toms River North, which stormed its way to a 35-13 lead on Neptune by halftime. Junior Jeremiah McCleave scored 14 points and senior Jordan Pierre added 11 to lead Neptune.
