Battle of Barnegat
Barnegat 68, Mainland 49
Senior Cole Toddings scored 19 points and the Bengals (13-5) closed both halves with a flourish on the way to a win over the Mustangs (4-14) — the reigning South Jersey Group III champions — that marks Barnegat’s eighth straight victory.
Senior Mason Krey added 15 points and classmate Luke Tortorici threw in 11 for Barnegat, which took a 10-point halftime lead on the strength of a 20-6 run during the second quarter. Barnegat then closed out the win by outscoring Mainland, 19-9, in the fourth.
Dallas Rowell carried Mainland with a game-high 29 points.
Cedar Creek 77, Manchester 75 (OT)
Senior Aidan Lunn scored a game-high 35 points and inhaled 27 rebounds, but it was not enough to carry the Hawks over the Pirates in an overtime loss. Senior M.J. Goins added 19 points and freshman Justin Roberts chipped in 14 for Manchester.
Absegami 76, Ocean 53
Junior Aidan Saint Louis scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but his double-double was not enough for the Spartans to keep pace with the Braves.
St. Joseph Hammonton 65, Howell 56
Sophomore Noah Musto scored 16 points and the Rebels cut a 13-point first-half deficit to two by halftime, but could not complete the comeback in a loss to the Wildcats.
Senior Peter Barkauskas added 14 points and junior Cayden Parker netted 10 for Howell, which went scoreless in the first quarter before getting back into the game during the second quarter.

Vineland 61, Toms River South 44
Junior Shane Gambarony scored a game-high 20 points, but the Fighting Klan overcame Gambarony’s scoring to beat the Indians.
Freehold Boro 45, Wildwood Catholic 39
Senior Qua’Mir Everett followed up his career-high scoring output on Friday with a game-high 18 points to go with seven rebounds and the Colonials defeated the Crusaders in the final game of the Battle of Barnegat showcase.
Everett and fellow senior Brian Tassey combined for all but 11 of Freehold Boro’s points, with Tassey posting 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three blocked shots in the win.

Brick Memorial 65, Raritan 45
Junior Sean Collins scored 21 points to go with six rebounds, three assists and two steals and the Mustangs snapped their 10-game losing streak by upending the Rockets.
Senior Joe Witter added 14 points and four assists and junior Jason Lajara contributed six points, six assists and five steals for Brick Memorial. Senior Brayden Nalducci also scored nine points and classmate Damani Muldrow pitched in five points, three assists and five steals in the win.
Freshman Mario Diamantis scored 14 points and junior Ian Mullan threw in 11 to lead Raritan.
Keyport 68, Lakewood 37
Senior Nico Dispenza scored 19 points and classmate Andrei Matthews kicked in 17 to power a Red Raiders rout of the Piners.
Junior Kai Arrington added 11 points for Keyport. Junior Ronny Cuevas scored 18 points and sophomore Isaiah Shade added 11 to lead Lakewood.
Point Beach 65, Point Boro 47
Sophomore Danny Cavanaugh scored a team-high 13 points and the Garnet Gulls stormed past the rival Panthers in the second half, with six Point Beach players scoring at least nine points for the game.
Sophomore Tyler Preston added 12 points and sophomore George Breckenridge pitched in 11 for Point Beach, which outscored Point Boro, 42-18, in the second half and took over the game with a 16-2 run that closed out the third quarter and sent the Gulls to the fourth with a 47-39 lead.
Juniors Jacob Edgecomb and Elijah Ives each chipped in 10 points and senior Scot Crowley added nine.
Senior Drew Cardia scored 20 points and handed out four assists to lead Point Boro. Sophomore Hunter Hynes chipped in 12 points and four steals, while sophomore Jovin Steinmetz added 11 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
Long Branch 50, Jackson Liberty 32
Joshua Guzman scored 17 points and Josh Da’Cruz netted 14 to pace the Green Wave to a win over the Lions. Chris Moses added six points and was a force on the defensive end with 12 rebounds, six steals and five blocked shots.
No. 2 Manasquan 40, No. 5 Red Bank 26
Sophomore Rey Weinseimer scored a game-high 17 points and the Warriors shut down the Bucs to nail down another win over a team ranked in the top six of the Shore Conference.
Senior Griffin Linstra added 11 points and eight rebounds and junior Jack O’Reilly scored all six of his points in the fourth quarter to help Manasquan close it out. Manasquan’s defense limited Red Bank to two points in the second quarter and three in the fourth.
Senior Zayier Dean scored 11 points and nabbed three steals to lead Red Bank, which played its third straight game without senior guard and leading scorer Ryan Fisher due to a concussion.

West Windsor-Plainsboro North 43, Manalapan 25
Allentown 74, Freehold Twp. 57
Sophomore Jake Schultzel scored 16 points to lead Freehold Township, but the Patriots could not overcome a 20-point disparity at the free throw line in a road loss to the Redbirds.
Senior Jordan Dulnuan scored 14 points and sophomore John O’Neill chipped in 13 for Freehold Township. Nick Pless scored a game-high 23 points to lead Allentown, which shot 25-for-34 from the free-throw line. Freehold Township shot 5-for-9 from the stripe.
No. 8 Colts Neck 73, Ferris 66 (OT)
Seniors Bryce Belcher and Dan Buoncore scored 19 points apiece and the Cougars earned an overtime win over the Bulldogs at Dickinson High School in Jersey City despite playing without leading scorer Lukas Sloan.
Freshman Nate Sloan added 11 points and senior James Novak chipped in eight for Colts Neck.
New Egypt 55, Glassboro 48
Junior Nolan Arnold poured in 22 points and the Warriors used a big third-quarter run to turn back the Bulldogs.
Junior Ryan Reynolds pitched in 13 points and classmate Clyde Ferris contributed 11 for New Egypt, which outscored Glassboro, 18-5, during the third quarter to take a 43-34 lead going to the fourth.
No. 9 Red Bank Catholic 61, Wayne Valley 53
Senior Ryan Prior, senior Sean Saxton and junior James Hankowski combined for 57 of Red Bank Catholic’s 61 points and the Caseys rode a 40-point second half to a win over the Indians in Red Bank.
Prior drained six three-pointers and scored 11 of his game-high 23 points in the third quarter to lead RBC. Saxton scored all 20 of his points after the first quarter, including 13 in the second half. Hankowski chipped in with 14 points — 11 of which came in the second half, during which RBC outscored Wayne Valley, 40-27. Hankowski also hit four three-pointers, giving him and Prior a combined 10 connections from beyond the arc.
Hudson Catholic 57, No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 49
Quinnipiac commit Keith McKnight scored a game-high 25 points and Manhattan commit Omari Moore addeed 16 to help the Hawks hold off a late comeback effort by the Bulldogs to escape with a road win at the Shore.
Junior Luke Cruz scored 16 points to lead Rumson, which trailed, 41-22, midway through the third quarter and pulled to within four points in the final two minutes. Hudson Catholic started the third quarter on a 13-0 run after taking a 28-22 lead into halftime. Rumson jumped out to a 14-10 lead late in the first quarter and the Hawks countered with an 18-5 run that Cruz ended with a corner three-pointer in the final seconds of the first half.
Junior Luke Lydon added 12 points and seniors David Carr and Riley Gill each netted eight points for Rumson.
Shore 79, Koinonia 63
Sophomore Maddox Paulin scored 22 points and three other Shore players cracked double-figure scoring as the Blue Devils shot their way past Koinonia.
Senior Bryce Crowe and junior Ryan Barham each added 14 points, junior Finn Watson poured in 10 points and junior Andrew Barham chipped in nine for Shore.
At Holy Cross Prep
Cherry Hill West 55, Toms River North 49
Freshman Jake Greenberg scored 12 points but the Mariners fell short against the Lions.
Cinnaminson 43, No. 3 Central 42
Senior Jaycen Santucci reached the 1,500-point plateau for his career and moved into second on the all-time scoring list at Central, but his all-around effort was not enough to carry the Golden Eagles over the Pirates.
Santucci finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals for Central, which played without senior forward Royalty Riley, who was on an official college visit.

No. 1 St. Rose 74, Boys Latin School (Md.) 50
Junior Jayden Hodge scored a game-high 22 points and the Purple Roses broke open a tight game with a dominant fourth-quarter performance to pick up the win.
Hodge scored 10 points each in the first and third quarters to lead the Purple Roses to the brink of the win, then the Purple Roses rode a hot stretch by junior Tyler Cameron to a 23-2 run during the fourth quarter. Cameron scored all nine of his points in the final quarter and seven other St. Rose players scored two points each to combine for the other 14 points in the quarter.
Sophomore Avery Lynch scored 14 of his 18 points in the first half and was one of the eight scorers in the fourth.
