Group A
Holmdel 9, St. Rose 0
Senior Stepan Kapranov went off for four goals and an assist as the Hornets (4-2-1) coasted to a win over the Purple Roses (1-8).
Senior Lucas Hansen and sophomore Lucas Nobrega each scored two goals, senior Tyler Gravier also scored a goal and junior Luke Farrugia dealt out two assists.
Ranney 4, Donovan Catholic 2
Senior Dev Nayar scored a goal in each half and junior Tyler Yang chipped in a goal and two assists — both on Nayar’s goals — to lead the Panthers (5-2-1) over the Griffins (0-5).
Junior Eddie Magherini opened the scoring for Ranney in the 12th inning and Yang and Nayar followed with two more goals in the 17th and 32nd minutes to open up a 3-0 Ranney lead.
Junior Max Durazzo got Donovan Catholic on the board in the final minute of the first half with the first of his two goals before Nayar scored Ranney’s fourth goal in the 66th minute.
Group B
No. 5 CBA 2, Manchester 0
Senior Nick Tesauro struck for a goal six minutes into the match and classmate Brandon McDonough added an insurance tally in the 52nd to ignite a Colts (5-3) win over the Hawks (3-5). Junior James Brady set up the Tesauro goal with a cross into the box and McDonough finished his goal out of a scrum near the net.
St. John Vianney 2, Monmouth 0
Senior Kyle DiMarco scored four minutes into the match and Shayan Katiraei headed home an insurance goal in the 31st as the Lancers (4-1) blanked the Falcons (4-2-1). Junior Alex Siniscalchi crossed the ball in to DiMarco to set up the first goal and senior Dylan Smith served the ball that found Katiraei’s head late in the first half.
Group C
Red Bank 3, Brick 2 (OT)
Senior Trey Cummings completed a hat trick with the golden goal in the eighth minute of overtime and the Bucs (4-4) finished off a critical win over the Green Dragons (1-5) in their pursuit of a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament.
Senior Jason Monge played a through-ball on the ground that Cummings ran down and chipped over Brick goalkeeper Devyn Baldwin for the game-winner.

The two teams traded goals in the first half, with junior Giani Godenzi giving Brick a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute and Cummings answering in the 37th off a pass from junior Alex Salvo.
The game remained tied until the 70th minute, when Cummings delivered his second goal off a feed from Monge. In the 75th, junior Carl Loffredo answered with an equalizer for Brick to send the game into overtime.
No. 2 Howell 4, Shore 1
Senior Kam Brown scored two goals in the second half, including the go-ahead goal in the 42nd minute as the Rebels (5-1) bounced back from an early Shore goal to beat the Blue Devils (5-3).
Freshman Bryan Barbosa scored off a pass from senior Silvio Pessoa to give Shore a 1-0 lead in the 24th minute and the Blue Devils held that lead until the 30th, when senior John Fiorillo tied the game with a goal off a pass from classmate Tyler Borenstein.
Brown’s first goal gave Howell a 2-1 lead and came off an assist from junior Andrew Tabora-Hernandez. Sophomore Andrew Holmes extended the lead to 3-1 in the 60th with his first varsity goal, which came off the first of two assists by senior Nick Turturro. Five minute later, Turturro set up Brown’s second goal of the game.
Group D
Point Beach 1, Matawan 0 (OT)
Sophomore Landon Hobermann scored the golden goal in the 88th minute off a pass from Evan Hajeski and the Garnet Gulls (6-0) turned back the Huskies (0-7) to extend their season-opening unbeaten streak to six games.
No. 6 Toms River North 1, Toms River South 1
Junior Nigel Graham slipped a 20-yard shot under the crossbar and in during the 73rd minute and senior goalkeeper Nolen Mahoney saved a Toms River North penalty kick less than three minutes later as the Indians (5-1-1) clawed their way back to earn a draw against the rival Mariners (4-3-1).
Toms River North grabbed a 1-0 advantage in the 21st minute, when senior Christian Assante headed in a corner kick by classmate James Homyak.
Toms River South also scored off a corner kick, the Toms River North’s attempted clearance bounding to the feet of Graham, who hit a twisting shot that bent under the crossbar.
Mariners senior Cristian Caso drew a takedown inside the penalty box to earn a penalty kick in the 76th minute, but Mahoney denied him on the penalty kick.
Toms River North created the most dangerous opportunity in overtime, with senior Josh Brazer firing a shot from near the right edge of the six-year box just wide of the far-left post.
Group E
Brick Memorial 3, Asbury Park 1
Junior Elin Torres scored a goal and assisted another by senior Matt Muolo to help lead the Mustangs (6-1-1) to a win over the Blue Bishops (1-7).
Freshman Matt Heptig scored the third Brick Memorial goal off a pass from junior Joseph Torres.
No. 4 Ocean 3, Long Branch 2
Senior Noor Eraky headed in a free kick by classmate Jacob Gomez with 3:30 left and the Spartans (6-1) rallied from a goal back to beat the Green Wave (0-5) and inch closer to a first-round bye in the Shore Conference Tournament.
With his team trailing, 2-1, Ocean freshman Zach Sutton earned a penalty kick and buried it to tie the game, setting up Eraky’s heroics on Gomez’s second assist of the game. Ocean opened the scoring on a goal by sophomore Connor Shaw in the first half.
Group F
Lacey 3, Point Boro 1
Senior Aiden Fitzgerald scored two goals, including a momentum-altering finish two minutes before halftime that propelled the Lions (4-4) to a key victory over the Panthers (2-3-1) in their push for a spot in the SCT.
Fitzgerald scored off a feed from junior John Heckel in the fifth minute for a 1-0 Lacey lead. Point Boro eventually answered with a goal by junior Braeden Moramarco to tie the score, 1-1, in the 37th minute.
Point Boro looked poised to head to halftime even with the home team, but Fitzgerald counted with a back-breaking goal just one minute after Moramarco equalized.
Junior Noah Riley capped the scoring for Lacey in the 75th minute off a feed from sophomore Kenshin McHugh.
Barnegat 6, Keyport 0
Sophomore Nate Scisco assisted goals by junior Ethan Yllanes and Matt Arbasetti to open the scoring and the Bengals (5-2) rode six different goal-scorers to a one-sided, shutout win over the Red Raiders (1-4).
Junior Riley Stolte, senior Owen Scisco, junior Pablo Tapia and junior Leo Chamorro each added a goal for Barnegat.
Group G
Neptune 1, Pinelands 0
The Scarlet Fliers (3-3-1) tallied the lone score of the game on an own goal and held on to top the Wildcats (2-6) in a key match in determining the third SCT spot out of Group G.
No. 10 Marlboro 8, New Egypt 0
Seniors Jake Langella and Marcelino Yussef each scored two goals, with Langella also chipping in an assist, as the Mustangs (5-2) rolled to a win over the Warriors (1-7).
Junior Dean Allegretta scored a goal and an assist, senior Luciano Garcia collected two assists and junior Ari Stillwell, senior Owen Fischler and senior Sam Leiser each notched a goal.
Group H
Lakewood 4, Henry Hudson 1
Steven Aguilar scored a goal in each half and Yosiah Cruz picked up a pair of assists to lead the Piners (4-1) to a win over the Admirals (0-4-1).
Kervin Martinez struck for a goal in the eighth minute after taking on multiple defenders, giving Lakewood a 1-0 lead. Aguilar scored in the 26th to extend the lead to 2-0 and again in the 70th, this time on a left-footed strike after Cruz slid him the ball to push the Piners lead to 3-0.
Valentino Rojas capped the Lakewood scoring off a cross from Cruz in the 72nd.
No. 8 Manalapan 4, Rumson-Fair Haven 3
The Braves (7-1) scored two goals off a pair of set pieces just over two minutes apart to break a 1-1 deadlock in the second half before holding on to beat the Bulldogs (3-4) on the road.
Junior Ethan Rosenfeld flicked a header into the goal off a free kick by junior Eduardo Russo at the end of the 50th minute and junior Ethan Lustig bent in a free kick from beyond the 18-yard box on the left side in the opening seconds of the 53rd minute for a 3-1 Braves lead.
Rumson-Fair Haven drew closer with a penalty kick from senior Luke D’Angelo in the 70th minute before Manalapan cashed in an own goal on a rip by Dylan Cassidy in the 75th minute. D’Angelo converted another penalty kick in the 76th to draw Rumson one goal closer again, but the Braves held the lead for the final four-plus minutes.
Senior Joe DeLanzo finished a pass from junior Dan Altman to give Manalapan the early 1-0 lead in the fifth minute before Rumson equalized with a corner kick by junior Bobby Tamashunas that made its way across the goal-line in the 33rd minute.
Group I
No. 2 Manasquan 6, Jackson Liberty 0
Senior Jorge Cruz Cruz scored two goals and senior Cooper Daly dished out three assists to lead the Warriors (5-1) to a win over the Lions (2-5-1).
Senior Brandon Kunz, senior Tristan Davolos-Guillen, senior T.J. Walther and junior Nate Paterno each contributed a goal for Manasquan.

Middletown North 2, Middletown South 0
Senior Josiah Stepney gave his team the lead with a goal in the first half and fellow senior Aiden Dinella provided the insurance goal in the second as the Lions (4-4) shut down the Eagles (4-3-1) in the Middletown rivalry match.
Junior Cam DelGrosso set up Stepney’s first-half goal and Nick Dinella assisted the goal by Aiden.
Non-Division
Wall 2, Central 0
Senior Robert Keegan scored two goals in the second half and the Crimson Knights (5-3-1) grounded the Golden Eagles (3-3) for a win on the road.
Senior Ryan Anderson assisted Keegan’s goal in the 44th that opened the scoring and junior Griffin Lecorchick set up Keegan’s second goal in the 61st.
Non-Conference
Jackson Memorial 3, Ewing 0
Junior Robert Calamia assisted a goal by classmate Colin Williams, then finished one of his own to cap the scoring as the Jaguars (4-4-2) handled the Blue Devils (0-7).
Junior Anthony Castellano scored off a find by classmate Nick Ifantis to give Jackson Memorial a 2-0 lead.
