Brick 15, Lacey 10

Senior midfielder Reese Achille scored four goals and dished out four assists as the Dragons (1-0) topped the Lions (1-2). Junior midfielder Lindsay Giovine and sophomore midfielder Olivia Hoagland each registered their first hat trick. Five other Dragons scored a goal including senior attacker Riley O’Brien, junior attacker Vienna Skowronski, junior midfielders Isabella Finamore and Irelyn Maloney, and freshman midfielder Ryan Mistretta. Junior goalie Isabella Davila recorded 10 saves.

No. 9 Barnegat 15, New Egypt 4

Senior Lizzie Medina scored four goals and dished out an assist, and junior Ella Tortorici netted three goals and dished out two assists as the Bengals (1-0) routed the Warriors (1-1).

No. 10 Manalapan 19, St. John Vianney 5 

Junior Aryelle Stein picked up where she left off by scoring more than a 10th of her total goals from last year as the Braves took down the Lancers. Stein had 11 goals in the victory. Senior midfielder Madison Alcantara started her campaign with five goals and also added a helper. Senior Goalie Jordan Horowitz had 10 saves in the win.

Jackson 6, St. Rose 5

Junior Regan Cooney scored two goals and dished out an assist to lead the Jaguars (1-1) past the Purple Roses (0-2). Four other Jaguars each scored a goal including seniors Lyla Norville, Faith Moroney, Abby Wisniewski, and Emily McGovern. Junior goalie Ang Georgiano recorded seven saves.

Holmdel 15, Red Bank Catholic 5

Sophomore Ryann Buchan poured in five goals and dished out three assists as the Hornets (2-0) topped the Caseys (0-2). Junior midfielder Sunny Betz added four goals and an assist. Freshman Kate Powers scored three goals. Senior attacker Avery Dubin added two goals while junior Alyssa Sargent added one goal. Senior defender Preeya Chen forced four turnovers. Freshman goalie Josephine Betz saved 16 shots.

Point Boro 10, No. 7 Shore 4

No. 5 Middletown South 18, Wall 5

Sophomore attacker Ashley Penn matched her career high with six goals as the Eagles (1-0) stifled the Crimson Knights (2-2). Junior attacker Hayley Jamison poured in five goals. Junior Alexis Marquis added three goals. Senior attacker Anna Stumberger scored a goal and dished out two assists while senior midfielder Abigail Gallagher added a goal and an assist. Senior attacker Riley Murphy and freshman Charlotte Reid each scored a goal while sophomore midfielder Gianna Togneri recorded an assist.
