2025-2026 Shore Sports Insider Girls Basketball Week 10 Top 10
1. Red Bank Catholic (27-2) Last Week: 1- The Caseys remain in the top spot after routing Union Catholic 75-22 in the South Jersey Non-Public A Quarterfinals. Senior Addy Nyemchek went off for a game-high 27 points. Red Bank Catholic will host (4) St. Thomas Aquinas who is ranked 13th in the state according to NJ Advance Media in the semifinal round on Thursday.

2. St. John Vianney (25-3) Last Week: 2- The Lancers cruised in their first two games in the South Jersey Non-Public A playoffs as they defeated Donovan Catholic 67-16, led by senior Madison Kocis’ 12 points, and defeated Bishop Eustace 73-22 led again by Kocis’ 18 points. St. John Vianney will host (3) Paul VI who is ranked 3rd in the state according to NJ Advance Media in the semifinal round on Thursday.

3. Manasquan (23-5) Last Week: 3 – The Warriors had no trouble dispatching their opponents in the first three rounds of the Central Jersey Group 2 playoffs. Manasquan defeated Ocean 56-23 in the opening round, led by senior Jordyn Hollowell’s 18 points. The Warriors defeated Spotswood 54-34 in the second round, led by senior Shannon Looney’s 18 points. Manasquan defeated Metuchen 53-18 in the semifinals, led by Hollowell’s 11 points. The Warriors will host (2) Rumson-Fair Haven in the sectional final on Friday night.

4. Rumson-Fair Haven (19-10) Last Week: 4 – Rumson-Fair Haven won their first three games in the Central Jersey Group 2 bracket. They defeated Wall 54-39 in the opening round, led by senior Erin Reid’s 19 points. The Bulldogs defeated Point Boro 59-46, led again by Reid and her 22 points. Reid once again led the way as the Bulldogs defeated A.L. Johnson 45-38. Reid went for a game-high 21 points in the win. Rumson-Fair Haven will travel to (1) Manasquan on Friday night to play for the sectional title.

5. Colts Neck (21-6) Last Week: 5 – The Cougars dominated their first two games in the Central Jersey Group 3 playoffs. Colts Neck defeated Northern Burlington 67-29 in the opening round, led by sophomore Allison McAndrew’s 17 points. The Cougars defeated Westampton Tech 62-28 in the second round, led by sophomore Emily Donohue’s 15 points. Colts Neck will host (4) Ewing in the semifinal round at home on Wednesday night.

6. Howell (24-5) Last Week: 6 – The Rebels won their first three games in the South Jersey Group 4 playoffs by double-digits. Howell defeated Bridgeton 58-22 in the opening round, led by junior Kylee Beam’s 22 points. The Rebels defeated Cherry Hill East 55-41 in the quarterfinals led again by Beam and her 18 points. Howell defeated Egg Harbor 43-30 in the semifinals led by Beam’s 23 points. Howell will play for the South Jersey Group 4 title at (1) Lenape, who is ranked 14th in the state according to NJ Advance Media, on Friday night.

7. Trinity Hall (20-8) Last Week: 7 – The Monarchs remain at No. 7 despite falling in the South Jersey Non-Public A playoffs by virtue of two lopsided late season wins over Neptune who is directly behind them. Trinity Hall won their first round matchup, defeating Our Lady of Mercy 57-48, led by senior Bridget Rigney’s 16 points. The Monarchs lost to St. Thomas Aquinas 74-47 in the quarterfinals. Trinity Hall was led by freshman Ella Krayl’s 15 points.

8. Neptune (18-3) Last Week: 8 – The Scarlet Fliers won their first two games in the Central Jersey Group 3 playoffs. Neptune defeated Matawan in the first round, 54-30, led by junior Lana Ellington’s game-high 27 points. Neptune defeated Steinert 37-25 in the quarterfinals, led by senior Majiah Quarles’ 15 points. Neptune will host Red Bank on Wednesday in the semifinal round.

9. Brick (18-9) Last Week: 9 – The Dragons remain ninth this week despite a season-ending loss in the Central Jersey Group 3 playoffs. Brick won their opening round game, defeating Freehold Boro 71-46, led by sophomore Ariana Wissen’s 29 points. Brick lost to Ewing 50-40 in the second round. Wissen again led the Dragons with 18 points. With no games remaining, the Dragons ability to hold this spot is entirely dependent on how the team’s below them fair in the state tournament from this point on.

10. Toms River East (15-12) Last Week: Unranked – The Raiders worked their way back into the Top 10, winning their first two games in the South Jersey Group 3 playoffs. Toms River East defeated Triton 56-42 in the opening round, led by sophomore Libby Dickman’s season-high 25 points. The Raiders went on the road and upset Mainland in the second round, defeating the Mustangs 62-54. Dickman again led the Raiders with 19 points. Toms River East will go on the road and take on Moorestown on Wednesday in the sectional semifinals.
