SSI Shore Conference Football Picks – Week 1
The first week of Shore Conference football is in the books and our picks were not as bad as we thought they might end up!
Scott Stump jumped out to an early lead after an 18-win week with Bob Badders one game back. The Coach, Ed Sarluca Sr., got off to a bumpy start, but as we’ve learned over the years it’s anybody’s game right up through the playoffs. There’s a long way to go.
Week 1 features the 11 teams that did not play in Week 0, including No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven, a New Egypt team returning to the Shore Conference, and teams with new head coaches at Asbury Park, Brick and Shore Regional. There are two matchups between teams ranked in the Atlantic Physical Therapy Top 12, a marquee nonconference showdown between state powers and several intriguing nondivisional games.
