1. Rumson-Fair Haven (14–6) Last Week: 1

Rumson-Fair Haven solidified its hold on the top spot in the rankings by edging CBA, 9-8, in the Shore Conference Tournament championship game. The Bulldogs advanced to the final with a commanding 14-5 victory over Southern in the semifinals.
RFH will be heavily favored against New Egypt and the winner of A.L. Johnson/Shore in the opening rounds of the postseason. The Bulldogs could also have an opportunity for redemption later in the bracket, as a potential sectional semifinal matchup with Glen Ridge — the team that eliminated RFH from last year’s state tournament — may await.
Upcoming: (16) New Egypt (SJ 1)
2. CBA (14-6) Last Week: 2

Christian Brothers Academy earned revenge against Holmdel with a dominant 15-5 victory in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals before falling to a revenge-focused Rumson-Fair Haven squad in the championship game.
The Colts will face a difficult road in a loaded Non-Public bracket. CBA will be favored against the winner of Montclair Kimberley and Red Bank Catholic in the second round, but a potential quarterfinal trip to fourth-seeded St. Augustine could await. The Hermits handed the Colts an 11-5 loss earlier this season.
Upcoming: Winner of (12) Montclair Kimberley and (21) Red Bank Catholic (Non-Public)
3. Southern (14-5) Last Week: 3

Southern did not perform to its usual standard in a 14-5 loss to Rumson-Fair Haven in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals, but the Rams quickly shifted their focus toward the state tournament and the opportunity that still lies ahead.
Southern earned the top seed in South Jersey Group 4, securing home-field advantage throughout the sectional tournament. The Rams will host Egg Harbor in the opening round and, with a victory, would face the winner of Lenape and South Brunswick in another matchup where Southern is expected to be favored.
Upcoming: (16) Egg Harbor (SJ 4)
4. Holmdel (14–4) Last Week: 4

Holmdel’s second meeting with CBA did not unfold the way the Hornets had hoped, as they suffered a 15-5 loss in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals. However, Holmdel now turns its attention to the North Jersey Group 2 playoffs, where the Hornets earned the No. 3 seed.
Holmdel will be favored in its opening-round matchup against River Dell before potentially hosting a dangerous 13-5 Montville squad in the next round.
Upcoming: (14) River Dell (NJ 2)
5. Manasquan (9-6) Last Week: 5

Manasquan spent the week preparing for the start of the South Jersey Group 2 playoffs.
The Warriors appear to have a legitimate path to the sectional final after earning the No. 2 seed. Manasquan will be heavily favored against Brick in the opening round and would also be expected to advance against the winner of Cinnaminson and Sterling. A potential sectional semifinal could then feature a rematch with third-seeded Robbinsville, a team the Warriors defeated 10-3 earlier this season. On the opposite side of the bracket, top-seeded Ocean City enters as the favorite after recording a regular season win over Southern and pushing CBA to a one-goal game earlier this year.
Upcoming: (15) Brick (SJ 2)
6. Middletown South (11-7) Last Week: 10

The Eagles’ new placement in the rankings will be tested immediately, as Middletown South is set to host Red Bank in the opening round of the North Jersey Group 3 playoffs.
Upcoming: (9) Red Bank (NJ 3)
7. Shore (7-7) Last Week: 6

Shore’s Finn Watson (Photo: Tom Smith | tspsportsimages.com)
Shore drops one spot in the rankings following an 18-15 loss to Middletown South. Despite the setback, the Blue Devils own one-goal victories over both Red Bank and Wall, giving them a 2-1 record against the teams ranked between No. 6 and No. 10.
The Blue Devils face a difficult road in the South Jersey Group 1 playoffs. Shore will travel to face A.L. Johnson, which enters the matchup with a 3-0 record against Shore Conference opponents, including wins over Wall, Manalapan, and Point Boro. If the Blue Devils are able to get past the Crusaders, a likely trip to top-seeded Rumson-Fair Haven would await in the next round.
Upcoming: at (8) A.L. Johnson (SJ 1)
8. Red Bank (10-8) Last Week: 7

Red Bank responded well following its loss to Middletown South, earning a 15-9 victory over Robbinsville. However, the Bucs slipped in the rankings after Middletown South followed up with an impressive win over Shore.
The good news for Red Bank is that an immediate opportunity for revenge — and a potential chance to flip the rankings — awaits in the opening round of the North Jersey Group 3 playoffs, where the Bucs will travel to face Middletown South.
Upcoming: at (8) Middletown South (NJ 3)
9. Wall (7-11) Last Week: No. 8

Wall’s Patrick Freud (Photo: Tom Smith | tspsportsimages.com)
Wall’s early-season victory over Middletown South was no longer enough to keep the Crimson Knights ahead of the Eagles in the rankings after Middletown South earned late-season victories over both Red Bank and Shore — teams that Wall lost to earlier in the year. The Crimson Knights were idle this past week as they prepared for the start of the state tournament.
Wall will be favored against Delran in the opening round before likely facing a talented Allentown squad that defeated Red Bank earlier this season on the road. If the Crimson Knights advance through those matchups, a trip to face top-seeded Ocean City in the sectional semifinals would likely await. Ocean City has proven itself against Shore Conference competition this season with a win over Southern and a one-goal loss to CBA.
Upcoming: (13) Delran (SJ 2)
10. Manalapan (10-7) Last Week: 9

Manalapan’s midseason overtime victory over Middletown South was no longer enough to keep the Braves ahead of the Eagles in the rankings after Middletown South picked up impressive wins over both Shore and Red Bank. Meanwhile, the Braves enter the postseason on a three-game losing streak following defeats to Wall, A.L. Johnson, and Hillsborough. Manalapan also owns the weakest record among the teams ranked No. 6 through No. 10, going 1-2 against that group.
The Braves will look to put the recent skid behind them when they open postseason play against Cherry Hill East in a pivotal playoff matchup. If Manalapan advances, a likely showdown with third-seeded Washington Township would await. Washington Township’s lone matchup against a Shore Conference opponent this season resulted in a 10-1 loss to Southern.
Upcoming: (11) Cherry Hill East (SJ 4)

Toms River East (8-10)
