The Rebels (24-6) were denied a second sectional title as the Indians (27-4) pulled away in the second half. Senior guard BellaRose Marino and junior forward Kylee Beam each finished with a team-high 14 points in the loss.
Howell will graduate a strong senior class including the likes of Marino, Leila Shaw, Payton Smith, and Kendall Bleakley. They are projected to return two major pieces to build around in Beam and Olivia Quinones.

Senior guard Jordyn Hollawell poured in a game-high 21 points as the Warriors (24-5) earned their third straight sectional title totaling their 19th overall in a win over the Bulldogs (19-11). Senior guard Shannon Looney finished with 17 points.
The game got off to a slow start with Manasquan holding a 5-1 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors gained some ground in the second quarter pulling ahead 17-4 before exploding in the third quarter from beyond the arc to go ahead 38-14.
Senior forward Erin Reid scored a team-high 13 points in the loss.
Manasquan will play Cinnaminson, the South Jersey Group 2 Champion in the state semifinals on Tuesday, March 10th at Monroe High School at 7 p.m.
