No. 9 Manasquan 48, Rancocas Valley 25
Senior Jack O’Reilly led a balanced offense with 10 points and was a key part of a suffocating Manasquan defensive effort that held the Red Devils (4-3) to eight points in the first half on the way to a Warriors (3-4) win that snapped a two-game skid.
Junior Logan Cleveland and sophomore Sean Bilodeau each added eight points for Manasquan.
No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 44, Holy Cross Prep 42
Senior Luke Lydon scored 15 points and freshman Clint Martin added 14 and the Bulldogs (8-0) held off a fourth-quarter surge from the Crusaders (5-1) to win their eighth straight to open the season.
Senior Luke Cruz added nine points for Rumson, which led, 40-28, with under six minutes to play in the fourth quarter before Holy Cross stormed back to pull within 41-40 with a minute to go. Martin hit a pair of free throws and Lydon knocked down one of two to close out the game.
Lawrence 64, Ocean 52
Freshman Omar Ayyash scored 14 points, but the Spartans (4-4) could not turn a three-point halftime lead into a win over the Cardinals (5-4), who picked up their second win over a Shore Conference team in three tries this season.
Junior Justice Hodges added 11 points and sophomore Brody Bell chipped in nine for Ocean.
Non-Division
Middletown South 57, Raritan 52
Senior Matt Trimble led a balanced offensive effort with 15 points and the Eagles (5-2) survived a challenge on the road against the Rockets (2-4). Freshman Evan Wells threw in 14 points and senior Justin Scarano pitched in nine on 3-for-4 shooting from beyond the three-point arc for Middletown South, which outscored Raritan, 19-14, in the fourth quarter after the two teams entered the final eight minutes tied, 38-38.
Sophomore Mario Diamantis scored a game-high 27 points on 7-for-9 three-point shooting to lead Raritan. Senior Anthony Fazioli also poured in 11 points in the loss to go with three steals.
Point Beach 52, Central 50
Junior George Breckenridge scored a game-high 20 points and hit three three-pointers in the third quarter to lead a come-from-behind win for the Garnet Gulls (6-2) on the road vs. the Golden Eagles (3-3).
Junior Ryan Mahoney scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half for Point Beach, which dug out of a 20-9 hole after one quarter. Junior Derek Roth scored 18 points to lead Central, with sophomore Caden King netting 13 and junior Cijier Yates pitching in 10 in the loss.
Brick Memorial 70, Lacey 20
Sophomore Luka Begashvili scored a game-high 20 points to match Lacey’s entire scoring output and lead the Mustangs (4-4) to a one-sided win over the Lions (1-7). Senior Sean Collins threw in 19 points while adding six steals for Brick Memorial.
Junior Kenny Monica led Lacey with eight points and nine rebounds.
No. 5 Freehold Twp. 67, Toms River North 51
Senior John O’Neill scored a game-high 19 points and dished out three assists to pace the Patriots (5-2) to a win over the Mariners (3-5). Junior Jack Gundaker added 11 points and sophomore Aamari Monroe-Alexander contributed six points, seven rebounds and four steals for Freehold Township.
Sophomore Jake Greenberg scored 15 points and senior Jayden Thomas poured in 13 to lead Toms River North.
No. 10 Marlboro 54, St. Rose 52
Junior Nolan Gong scored 19 points and dealt out five assists as the Mustangs (5-1) held off the Purple Roses (1-7). Junior Dylan McEwan added 15 points, senior Ajay Mathews netted 11 and senior Drew Lubeck pulled down 12 rebounds to go with seven points for Marlboro.
Senior Tyler Cameron carried the St. Rose offense with a game-high 22 points, with sophomore Ajay Catania scoring 11 and junior Marco Leonardis chipping in 10 in the loss.
No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 63, Donovan Catholic 47
Senior James Hankowski buried six three-pointers on the way to a game-high 20 points and the Caseys (5-2) downed the Griffins (4-2) on the road. Junior Gavin Biasi added 14 points and juniors Tyler Hager and Ryder Ciorciari each poured in eight for Red Bank Catholic.
Freshman Gerard Gallo led Donovan Catholic with 15 points, including 11 in the second half, while senior brother Pat Gallo chipped in 12 in the loss.
Toms River South 49, Brick 42
Seniors Shane Gambarony and Karsin Migliori each scored 15 points and nabbed two steals as the Indians (5-3) avenged a Kevin Williams Classic consolation loss to the Green Dragons (1-6) by winning the regular-season rematch. Gambarony also dished out four assists.
Junior Ryan Tufaro scored a game-high 17 points and classmate Jamel Pitts poured in 11 to lead Brick.
St. John Vianney 74, Manchester 58
Junior Nicky Mejia scored 20 points and sophomore Luke Angeles chipped in 14 to lead the Lancers (3-5) to a one-sided win over the Hawks (1-7).
Red Bank 63, Shore 55 (OT)
Senior Josiah Johnson scored a team-high 22 points, including a three-pointer that he banked in as time expired to save Red Bank in regulation and before the Bucs (4-5) went on to beat the Blue Devils (3-3) in overtime.
Juniors Justin Valentino and Will Galligan each scored 14 points for Red Bank and senior Bennett Lopez contributed seven points and 12 rebounds for the Bucs, who shot 17-for-20 from the free-throw line in the victory.
Senior Andrew Barham scored a game-high 25 points and brother Ryan Barham drained 20 to lead Shore.
Non-Conference
Nottingham 48, New Egypt 34
Senior Nolan Arnold scored 10 points and classmate Clyde Ferris added nine for the Warriors (4-3), but it was not enough to keep pace with the Northstars (5-1).
Keyport 58, Koinonia Academy 49
Senior Kai Arrington scored a game-high 18 points and the Red Raiders (3-3) rolled to a win over Konoinia (1-5). Senior Jermaine Bardon added 10 points and junior Demetrius Attia pitched in nine for Keyport.
Morristown-Beard 73, Ranney 61
Andrew Mardahaev scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds, handed out four assists and blocked two shots, but his all-around performance was not enough to pull the Panthers (3-3) past the Crimson (6-3).
Junior Bryce Haney added 13 points, senior Shaan Nayar contributed eight points and seven rebounds, and junior Ben Schaeffer put up seven points, seven rebounds and three assists for Ranney.

No. 1 CBA 56, Roselle Catholic 49
Junior Avery Lynch led a balanced scoring effort with 14 points and the Colts (6-1) closed out the Lions (4-3) to pick up a marquee win over the reigning Non-Public B champions to open 2026.
Lynch scored 12 of his points in the first half, including eight in the opening quarter to keep CBA within 15-13 of Roselle Catholic before the Colts surged in front to take a 30-23 lead by halftime, powered by a 13-0 run during the second quarter.
Sophomore Izayah Cooper added 13 points and dished out seven assists and junior center David Buley posted 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots for CBA. Senior Connor Andree also pitched in nine points and senior Charlie Marcoullier scored six points in his season debut, including the tie-breaking three-pointer that gave CBA the lead for good, 48-45. Marcoullier missed CBA’s first six games with a groin strain.
