St. John Vianney 52, Medford Tech, 48
Junior Nicky Mejia scored 16 points and classmate Danny O’Neill poured in 15 to lead the Lancers (5-15) to a hard-fought win over the Jaguars (3-15) on the last day of the Holy Cross Prep Showcase in Delran. Junior Justin Togans also threw in 12 points for St. John Vianney, which snapped a six-game losing streak with Sunday’s win.

Class A South
No. 7 Jackson 69, Donovan Catholic 63
Senior George Boley scored a game-high 25 points, handed out 11 assists and scored the tie-breaking basket with under a minute to go as the Jaguars (12-4, 5-1) squandered a double-digit second-half lead only to come through in the final minute of a road win over the Griffins (5-10, 1-5).
Senior Yaseer Johnson and sophomore Mi’Aire Anderson each posted 10 points and nine rebounds and senior Jimmy Pappalardo threw in 10 points as well for Jackson, which led by 14 at halftime and 10 heading into the fourth quarter.
Donovan Catholic freshman Gerard Gallo got a floater to drop with 1:12 remaining to tie the game, 63-63. Jackson answered back with a drive to the basket by Boley, followed by a timeout. Jackson then turned in stops on its next two defensive possessions, with Boley finding Anderson for the layup to make it 67-63 and Boley dropping in a layup for the capper in the final seconds.
Senior Pat Gallo led Donovan Catholic with 17 points, with junior Anthony Streeter adding 16 and junior Gabe Feliciano 13 in the loss. Streeter led the fourth-quarter comeback by Donovan Catholic with eight points in the quarter.
Metro Classic
At Stockton University
Point Boro 60, Rahway 40
Senior Jovin Steinmetz scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists as the Panthers (11-7) rumbled past the Indians (2-17) for a Metro Classic win.
Junior Hunter Hynes added 14 points and senior Dean Cardia chipped in nine points and six assists for Point Boro.
No. 1 CBA 74, Middle Twp. 53
Sophomore Izayah Cooper scored 11 of his team-high 19 points during CBA’s 29-point first quarter and the Colts (17-3) coasted to a win over the Panthers (10-7) at the Metro Classic.
Junior Avery Lynch added 18 points and seniors Charlie Messano and Charlie Marcoullier each chipped in 10 points for CBA. Senior Alex Daniel led Middle with a game-high 24 points.
Battle at Barnegat
At Barnegat
Barnegat 53, Absegami 48
Freshman Chancellor Joseph scored 17 points and the Bengals (7-9) rode a fast start to a win over the Braves (4-14) leading off the Battle at Barnegat between seven teams from the Cape Atlantic League vs. seven teams from the Shore.
Freshman Myles Joseph and senior Donovan Paul each added 10 points for Barnegat, which outscored Absegami, 19-8, in the first quarter to set their course to victory.
Ocean 61, Bridgeton 55
Senior Aidan Saint Louis poured in 21 points and freshman Omar Ayyash went for 20 as the Spartans (13-7) extended their winning streak to six by beating the Bulldogs (8-9) despite trailing throughout the first half.
Ayyash scored 10 points in the third quarter, during which Ocean outscored Bridgeton, 21-12, to swing a 29-25 deficit to a 46-41 lead heading to the fourth quarter. Sophomore Brody Bell also threw in nine points for Ocean on three second-half three-pointers.
Cedar Creek 63, Middletown North 58
Senior Eddie Lopez scored 16 points with four three-pointers, pulled in seven rebounds and blocked a pair of shots, but the Lions (5-13) nonetheless dropped a competitive game to the Pirates (12-4). Freshman Nick DiGiovanni added 15 points and junior Nate Tyburczy chipped in 11 for Middletown North.
Toms River North 54, Wildwood Catholic 39
Sophomore Jake Greenberg scored 15 points and junior teammate Jackson Sias added 13 as the Mariners (7-10) sailed to a win over the Crusaders (5-14) behind an all-around effort.
Greenberg handed out four assists and Sias blocked three shots, with the two top scorers combining for 22 of Toms River North’s 29 second-half points. Sias scored seven points in the third and Greenberg helped close out the win with eight in the fourth.
Senior Jayden Thomas and sophomore Zeke Correa each added eight points for Toms River North, which outscored Wildwood Catholic, 25-15, in the first half. Senior Bryce Kazanowsky also hauled in 16 rebounds in the victory to go with his four points.
Toms River East 61, Oakcrest 49
Sophomore Tommy Intintola poured in 22 points and inhaled 15 rebounds as the Raiders (8-8) overpowered the Falcons (4-13). Sophomore Brady Gillen added 16 points while connecting on four three-pointers for Toms River East, which led by as many as 33 in the second half.
Toms River South 59, Atlantic Tech 33
Senior Shane Gambarony scored a game-high 21 points, including the 1,000th of his high school career, to lead the Indians (10-9) to a convincing win over the Red Hawks (1-17).
Gambarony also dealt out three assists, while senior Kharii Pringle added 12 points and four steals and senior Brady Gibson chipped in eight points, six rebounds and five steals for Toms River South.
Congrats to Toms River South’s SR., G., Shane Gambarony for scoring his 1,000 point in a 55-39 victory over ACIT.

Holy Spirit 39, Colts Neck 38
Senior Dillon Younger scored a game-high 16 points and the Cougars (10-7) were positioned to cap the Battle at Barnegat with a win for the Shore Conference before a Holy Spirit basket with three seconds left gave the Spartans (14-5) the win.
Sophomore Nate Sloane added 11 points for Colts Neck.

No. 8 Manasquan 53, Thrive Charter 41
Junior Logan Cleveland scored 16 points while grabbing nine rebounds and the Warriors (9-7) used a well-rounded effort to top the Titans (13-3), the No. 17 team in the state, according to the most recent NJ Advance Media rankings.
Sophomores Sean Bilodeau and Kennedy Larned each added 10 points, while senior Jack Lattimer contributed nine points on three three-pointers along with four assists for Manasquan, which held Thrive to three points in an 11-3 first quarter and led, 27-14, at halftime.
At Holy Cross Academy
Central 44, Haddon Heights 35
Junior Derek Roth scored 18 points to go with eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in leading the Golden Eagles (13-5) to a win over the Garnets (8-9). Roth scored 14 of his points in the second half, including 10 during an 18-7 Central run that spanned the entire third quarter.
Sophomore Jaxen Carter hit three three-pointers in the second half on the way to 10 points and senior Elijah Reeder dominated the paint with 16 rebounds and six blocked shots to go with his six points.
Non-Division
Keyport 52, Lakewood 41
Senior Kai Arrington scored a game-high 28 points and the Red Raiders (8-9) rolled to a road win over the Piners (1-14). Senior Chris Herrara added 13 points for Keyport, as the senior duo combined for all but 10 of their teams points.
Senior Cris Rosario scored 15 points and sophomore Abel Martinez added 10 to lead Lakewood.
No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 73, No. 9 Point Beach 61
Senior Ryan Saxton scored 17 points led five Red Bank Catholic players with at least nine, as the Caseys (14-5) took control early and rode out a win over the Garnet Gulls (16-4).
Saxton also grabbed six rebounds and handed out three assists, while junior Gavin Biasi backed him up with 15 points. Junior Ryder Ciorciari chipped in 14 points, six rebounds and four assists, senior James Hankowski knocked down four three-pointers for 12 points, and junior Tyler Hager rounded out the RBC starting five with nine points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots.
Junior Tyler Preston led Point Beach with a game-high 18 points to go with six rebounds, while senior teammate Elijah Ives added 15 points and six boards. Junior Ryan Mahoney also chipped in 13 points in the loss, with eight coming in the fourth quarter.
Shore 66, Pinelands 35
Senior twins Andrew and Ryan Barham each scored 21 points, with Ryan knocking down five three-pointers, and the Blue Devils (13-4) rolled to a win over the Wildcats (11-4).
Freshman Rex Kline led Pinelands with nine points on three three-pointers.

St. Rose 62, Allentown 55
Senior Tyler Cameron scored 23 points and the Purple Roses (3-16) followed up their slump-busting win over Red Bank on Friday with a win over the Redbirds (9-9) less than 24 hours later.
Sophomore Ajay Catania poured in 17 points on four three-pointers and senior O’Rien Campbell contributed 11 points for St. Rose.
Henry Hudson 71, Roselle Park 43
Junior JoJo Newell, senior Billy Quinn and junior Tiernan Ilaraza combined for 62 of Henry Hudson’s 71 points as the Admirals (12-6) coasted to a win over the Panthers (4-12). Newell led the way with 24 points, Quinn poured in 21 and Ilaraza drained five three-pointers on the way to netting 17 points.
Manalapan 70, West Windsor-Plainsboro North 60
Junior Joe Farino pumped in 20 points to lead the Braves to a win over the Knights. Senior Dean Aviles added 15 points, junior Cameron Desfosse threw in 12 and freshman Josh Sosinov contributed eight for Manalapan.
