Sophomore Chris Ruggiero scored the equalizer in the 75th minute and Christian Caso headed in the game-winner in the 78th as the Mariners rallied to knock off the Braves on the road. Jon Luz gave Manalapan a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 52nd minute.
Manchester 5, Raritan 2
Senior Cody McLeod scored in the last minute of the first half and again in the first minute of the second half to highlight a Hawks win over the Rockets — Manchester’s seventh straight win. Senior Erik Balkius opened the scoring in the 12th minute and junior Brayden Kurak collected a goal and two assists in the second half alone. Junior Josh Rosado scored the final Manchester goal off the second assist of the match by Kurak.
Point Beach 5, New Egypt 1
Sophomore Brody Powers went off for four goals and the Garnet Gulls coasted to a win over the Warriors. Junior Dylan Ryan scored the other Point Beach goal and senior teammate Cody Monticello dished out a pair of assists. Jesus Madrigal scored the lone New Egypt goal.
Rumson-Fair Haven 3, Freehold Twp. 1
Senior Luke D’Angelo scored a goal in each half and assisted one by classmate Charlie Butters as the Bulldogs topped the Patriots. D’Angelo struck in the 11th minute off a pass from Butters and returned the favor for a Butters goal in the 43rd. Junior Bobby Tamashunas assisted D’Angelo’s goal in the 56th.
Gino Castaneda buried a 25-yard blast to the upper 90 in the 29th minute for the Freehold Township equalizer.
Lacey 5, Donovan Catholic 1
Senior Aidan Fitzgerald scored two goals and junior Tanner Grozinski chipped in a goal and two assists as the Lions grabbed a Senior-Night win over the Griffins. Senior Daniel Cardenas and junior Anthony Introna each added a goal for Lacey.
Sophomore Sal Reynoso scored the Donovan Catholic goal.
