Central 8, Manchester 0

Jordan Benzon posted a hat trick and Blake Crutchley contributed a brace to power a convincing win for the Golden Eagles that snapped a seven-game winning streak by the Hawks. Ilyas Ciltepe, Ricky Pasqualini and Sam Rezai each scored a goal for Central and Julian Lenovich dished out a pair of assists in the win.

Long Branch 3, Brick 0

Thomas Silva scored two goals and Carlos Andre Rodas added another as the Green Wave topped the Green Dragons for their seventh straight win.

Middletown North 9, Matawan 3

Ryan Barnao, Josiah Stepney and Louis Romeo each scored two goals and Nick Dinella dished out four assists to highlight a Lions win over the Huskies. Paul Que scored a goal to go with two assists and Greg Boyadijan also scored a goal for Middletown North.

Point Boro 8, St. Rose 1

Dean Cardia scored two goals — including the opener in the ninth minute — as the Panthers rolled to a win over the Purpled Roses. Jake Greene delivered the first of his two assists on Cardia’s first goal and also scored a goal for himself in the 56th minute. Colin Leschinski and Daniel Barlow each logged a goal and an assist, while Doug Walsh, Ben Scott and Noah McGinn each scored a goal for Point Boro.

Toms River South 5, Shore 3

Shane Gambaroy recorded a hat trick and Jacob Myers headed in two goals off passes from David Mandica in the final seven minutes as the Indians scored four unanswered goals in the final 18 minutes to nail down a come-from-behind win over the Blue Devils.

Gambarony opened the scoring with the lone goal of the first half and carried his team back into the game with goals two minutes apart in the 62nd and 64th minutes to pull even, 3-3.

Myers scored the first of his two headers in the 73rd for the game-winning goal, then added an insurance goal in the 78th.

Stephen Molnar scored Shore’s second-half equalizer directly off a corner kick, then assisted the first of two goals by Silvio Pessoa as Shore surged to a 3-1 lead.

Trenton 1, Neptune 1

Mason Imbriaco scored in the second half off a pass from Ivan Quiroz and the Scarlet Fliers battled the Tornadoes to a draw.

Toms River East 2, Spotswood 0

Tommy Renkin scored two goals in the final 16 minutes and the Raiders blanked the Chargers, giving senior goalkeeper Bobby Calvo his program-record-tying 20th career shutout.
