SCT Group Stage

Group A

Donovan Catholic 4, Keyport 0

 

Group B

Monmouth 4, Ranney 3

Senior Jenna Chlapowski led Monmouth with two goals and sophomore Angelise Marmolejas scored one goal and added two assists in the SCT Group B match-up. Chlapowski leads the team with 8 goals on the season. Senior Jalissa Jay scored the other Monmouth goal.

Senior Brooke Davis scored all three Ranney goals, with freshman Neve Caspi assisting two of them.

 

Group C

Central 5, New Egypt 0 

Senior Ava Schmidhauser scored two goals to lead a one-sided Golden Eagles win over the Warriors. Senior Riley Bilhimer, sophomore Brianna Daly and sophomore Logan Lisewski each added a goal, with Bilhimer also assisting a goal. Sophomore Leah DiCillo also dealt out two assists.

Manalapan 7, Shore 0

 

Group I

Jackson Liberty 4, Asbury Park 0

Senior Delaney Spalthoff scored two of Jackson Liberty’s four goals in the first half as the Lions used a fast start to upend the Blue Bishops.

Makenna Perez scored a goal to go with an assist and fellow sophomore Ali Zambor also notched a goal for Jackson Liberty.

 

Nondivisional

 No. 5 Lacey 6, Brick Memorial 2

Monmouth commit Natalie McGovern scored a hat trick to bring her total to 11 goals on the season in a non-divisional victory over Brick Memorial. The Lions scored three goals in each half to remain undefeated.  Seniors Reece Paget and Mackenzie Brotherston both scored a goal and had an assist for Lacey.

 

Middletown North 2, Colts Neck 1 (OT)

Sophomore Sofia Chaknis scored the golden goal off a pass from junior Piper Brink and the Lions rallied to beat the Cougars in extra time.

Junior Ayva Reid scored the game-tying goal for Middletown North in the second half, with classmate Loralai Davis providing the assist on the equalizer.

Junior Charli Pagano opened the scoring for Colts Neck with a goal in the first half while senior Olivia Gehman set it up with the assist.

 

Thursday, Sept. 19

SCT Group Stage

Group H

No. 1 Wall 7, Raritan 0

Sophomore Meg Farrell tallied two goals and one assist as one of six different goal scorers for the Crimson Knights (5-1) in their group-stage victory over the Rockets (3-2).

Kelsey Hallock and Jenna Gudatis had a goal and an assist each while Erynn Richey, Erin Farrell and Sarah Lawrence scored one goal apiece. Madalyn Peterson made four saves to post her second shutout of the season.
