Shore Conference Girls Soccer Week 4 Rankings presented by Playa Bowls

1. Toms River South (5-0) Last Week: 1

Toms River South passed its first major Class A South test with a 3-1 victory over No. 3 Central. Junior Daniella Gordon sparked the offense with a goal and two assists, while junior goalkeeper Reese Lindemann delivered a strong performance in net, making 10 saves for the Indians.
Gordon stayed hot against crosstown rival Toms River North, recording two goals and an assist. She now leads the team with seven goals, while Emma Turnbach, who found the back of the net twice last week, is close behind with six.
The Indians face another important test this week as they continue their pursuit of the Class A South title. Toms River South hosts Point Boro on Wednesday in a rematch of last season’s meeting, when the Panthers scored twice in the second half to earn a 2-0 victory.
2. Red Bank Catholic (6-0) Last Week: 2

The Caseys navigated a busy week with three victories, beginning with a 2-0 win over No. 6 Trinity Hall. Defenders Tina Mojares and Izzy Fasano each scored in the second half to lift RBC to the victory and a 3-0 record atop Class A North.
RBC carried that momentum into its second SCT Pod game, rolling past Point Beach 6-0 to improve to 2-0 and take the lead in Group 7. Senior Nina Bicej, who missed all of last season due to injury, celebrated senior night with a hat trick. Fellow senior Mia Cupo added two goals, while Mojares found the back of the net for the second time during the week.
The Caseys closed out the week with a 2-1 non-conference victory over Allentown. Bicej accounted for both goals, bringing her season total to six after scoring five times over the final two games of the week.
A pivotal Class A North matchup awaits RBC on Monday when it travels to No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven. Both teams enter undefeated in division play, with sole possession of first place on the line. Rumson defeated RBC 1-0 in double overtime in the second round of last season’s SCT. The Caseys then visit Middletown South, a team they edged 2-1 last season, before wrapping up the week at home against Notre Dame in a non-conference matchup.
3. Central (5-1) Last Week: 3

Central suffered their first loss of the season against No. 1 TRS. After going up 1-0 in the first-half, Central conceded three unanswered goals. The Golden Eagles responded with a 4-0 win over Manchester in a SCT Group game. Central scored three times in the second-half and had four different goal scorers. Junior Gianna Lawrence earned her third shutout of the season.
Central starts their busy week by traveling to Middletown North on Monday in a non-divisional game. Central beat the Lions 2-0 the last time they met in 2024. Central will travel to No. 8 Toms River East on Wednesday in a Class A South game. Central beat the Raiders 2-1 in overtime last year with goals from Brianna Daly and Madeline Leppard. Central ends the week hosting No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven on Friday in a non-divisional game. The Bulldogs beat the Eagles 2-1 in their last meeting in 2024.
4. Point Boro (4-1) Last Week: 5

Point Boro moved up one spot with Rumson losing to St. John Vianney last week. The Panthers started the week with a 4-0 division win over Lacey. Junior Maddie O’Connor scored two goals and had one assist, while Maddie Renna scored one goal and assisted on two others.
The Panthers followed that with a 2-1 overtime win over Marlboro to earn three points in SCT Group 8. Point Boro tied the game late in the second-half on a penalty kick by Khloey Cilento, and Megan Viggiano scored the golden goal.
Point Boro travels to crosstown rival Point Beach on Monday. The Panthers beat Point Beach 5-0 last season. On Wednesday, Point Boro will try to play spoiler as they travel to No. 1 Toms River South. The Panthers beat the Indians 2-0 last season. Point Boro ends the week at home against Shore on Saturday. The Panthers beat Shore 8-1 in 2024.
5. St. John Vianney (6-0) Last Week: Not Ranked

The Lancers are one of two new teams to enter the SSI Rankings for the first time this season. SJV has been on the bubble since the preseason, but beating two ranked opponents last week has them skyrocketing up the rankings.
SJV started the week with a 2-1 win over No. 8 Manasquan in a non-divisional game. Senior Gabby Parker scored her fifth goal of the season, and junior Juliana Lasota scored her first career goal.
The Lancers followed that with a 1-0 victory over No. 4 Rumson-Fair Haven. Junior Kennedy Wallace scored her sixth goal of the season in the first half, and Lillie Lazzari made six saves to earn her third shutout of the season.
SJV will host Shore on Tuesday in a Class A Central game. The Lancers beat Shore 1-0 last season. SJV will travel to Gill St. Bernard’s in a non-conference game on Thursday, and they end the week on the road against Matawan in a SCT Pod game. The last time Matawan and SJV met was in 2022, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
6. Rumson-Fair Haven (4-1) Last Week: 4
Rumson dropped two spots after falling to previously unranked St. John Vianney 1-0. The Bulldogs could not get any clear looks at the goal as they fought hard in the second-half searching for the equalizer.
The Bulldogs started the week with a 4-2 win over Middletown South to improve to 2-0 in Class A North. Junior Sadie Marino scored two goals, and Jordyn Sullivan scored on goal and assisted on two others.
Rumson picked up their first three points in SCT Group 6 in a hard-fought win against Middletown North. Leading 3-1 with eight minutes left in regulation, the Bulldogs conceded two goals to allow the game to go into overtime. Sullivan, who finished the game with a hat trick, scored the golden goal four minutes into overtime for Rumson.
Rumson will host No. 2 Red Bank Catholic Monday night in a division game. The Bulldogs beat RBC 1-0 in double overtime to advance in the SCT last season. Rumson travels to Manalapan on Wednesday in their second division game of the week. Last year, Manalapan beat Rumson 2-1 in the SCT semifinal. The Bulldogs end their challenging week on the road against No. 3 Central on Friday. Rumson beat Central in 2024 2-1 in a SCT Group game.
7. Trinity Hall (3-2) Last Week: 6

After winning three straight games, Trinity Hall fell to No. 2 Red Bank Catholic 2-0 in a Class A North game. It was the first time this season the Monarchs were shut out.
After playing only one game last week, Trinity Hall plays three games this week, starting with their first SCT Group game. The Monarchs travel to Toms River North, who are 0-1 in Group 1, to start their SCT schedule. Trinity Hall beat the Mariners 2-1 the last time they played in 2024. Trinity Hall follows that with a road game against Freehold Township in a Class A North match-up. Last year the Monarchs and Patriots battled to a scoreless draw. Trinity Hall ends the week at home against Freehold Boro in a non-divisional game. Trinity Hall beat Freehold Boro 1-0 in 2024.
8. Toms River East (4-1) Last Week: Not Ranked
Toms River East picked up three straight wins last week, including a 2-1 win over No. 9 Howell to enter the rankings for the first time this season. The Raiders are also the fourth team from Class A South to be in the rankings this week, showing how strong Ocean County is this season. Trailing 1-0 in the first-half, freshman Lily Gambarony scored two goals to lift the Raiders over the Rebels. Goalkeepers Emma Mastriano and Maddie Moore combined for 13 saves in the victory.
The Raiders started the week with a 2-1 victory over division opponent Southern. Sophomore Mia Storch and Gambarony both scored second-half goals for TRE. Moore made nine saves in the game for the Raiders.
TRE also defeated Barnegat 6-0 to earn their first three points in SCT Group 2. The Raiders had six different goal scorers in the game, with Storch leading the way with one goal and two assists.
TRE hosts No. 3 Central on Wednesday in a Class A South match-up. Central beat the Raiders 2-1 last season. On Friday, the Raiders travel to Wall in a non-divisional game. Wall defeated TRE 2-1 last year.
9. Howell (2-3) Last Week: 9

After losing their first two games of the season to ranked opponents, the Rebels picked up wins against Lacey and No. 10 Freehold Township. Mackenzie Memmolo continues to tally goals and assists in the Howell record books, scoring a goal and adding an assist against the Patriots. Sophomore Katherine Snowden scored her first career goal to help the Rebels win their first division game of the season.
The Rebels dropped a non-division game against Toms River East 2-1 to end the week. Junior Isabella Farinick scored her third goal of the season off an assist from Memmolo.
Howell has a busy week with three games. First, they travel to Raritan on Tuesday to play their second SCT Group game. Both teams are 1-0 in Group 5. On Friday, they host division rival Middletown South. Howell had a come-from-behind 3-2 victory last year against the Eagles. The Rebels end the week on the road against Marlboro in a non-divisional game on Saturday. These two teams have not met since 2023, when Howell won 1-0.
10. Freehold Township (3-3) Last Week: 10

After losing their first two games, Freehold Township has won three of their next four, with their only loss coming to No. 9 Howell last week. The Patriots got off to a slow start and went down 2-0, but tried to make a comeback. Sophomore Morgan Notaro scored the lone goal for the Patriots.
Freehold Township followed that game with a 2-1 win over No. 7 Wall. Notaro and Sihera Karce both scored for the Patriots, and Violet Matthews made seven saves. They ended the week with a 3-0 non-conference win over Steinert. Notaro finished with a hat trick to raise her season total to six goals. Matthews made four saves to earn her first shutout of the season.
Freehold Township will host No. 7 Trinity Hall on Wednesday in a divisional battle. Last year the Patriots and the Monarchs battled for 100 minutes to a scoreless tie. The Patriots will travel to Manalapan on Friday to play their second division game of the week. Freehold Township upset Manalapan in the Central Jersey Group 4 final in their last meeting. The Patriots will end the week on Saturday at Long Branch. This will be Freehold Township’s first SCT Pod game of the season.
