The Panthers (6-7) fell behind 9-1 after the 1st quarter and never recovered against the top seeded Cougars (5-6). Junior Kennedy Poser and Juily Nayar each scored a goal in the loss.

Senior Malia D’Alterio netted a hat trick and tallied an assist while sophomore goalie Cecilia Granatelli recorded 9 saves as the Caseys (8-5) topped the Braves (7-6) in a thriller. Sophomore Alexandra Rogers added 2 goals while sophomore Ava Torregrosssa and freshman Valentina Corba both scored 1 goal in the victory.
Brick Memorial 8, Neptune 2
Junior Charlotte Kampf sank 5 shots and distributed an assist to lead the Mustangs (7-5) past the Scarlet Fliers (3-10). Senior Paige Fraser added 2 goals and an assist. Junior Emily Cranston scored a goal while sophomore Lyla Blood tallied 2 assists, and junior Ella Kennedy tallied 1 assist.
Sophomore Stella Curto scored both goals for the Scarlet Fliers in the loss.
Manasquan 12 , No. 7 Central 6
Dylan Carnahan scored 3 goals and Manasquan’s defense shut down Central’s offense for most of the second half as the Warrior defeated No. 7 Central 12-6. Squan’s defense allowed 1 goal over the final 29-minutes and held Central’s high scoring duo of RyAnn Dunn (2) and Addison Frulio (1) to three goals combined.
Ellie Sitar, Chloe Stevens, Olive O’Reilly, and Sophia Evans added 2 goals each for the Warriors (5-6). Dunn and Jenna Robinson scored 2 each for the Golden Eagles (9-5).
Toms River North 8, Long Branch 7
Sophomore Lauren Kuhn netted a hat trick and distributed 3 assists as the Mariners (1-12) sailed past the Green Wave (5-9) toward their first victory of the season. Junior Reagan Catalano added 2 goals and an assist. Seniors Tiffany Judge and Sofia Backle as well as sophomore Bailey Lachowicz each scored a goal. Senior goalie Emilyse Marra turned back 6 shots in the win for the Mariners.
New Egypt 12, Point Beach 8
Junior Madison Adam scored 6 goals to lead the unbeaten Warriors (11-0) past the Garnet Gulls (2-9). Junior Aimee Kovacs added 4 goals and 2 assists. Senior Kelly Thoens netted 2 goals and tallied an assist in the win for the Warriors.
Freehold Township 11, Colts Neck 10
Junior Gianna Neron netted 3 goals as the Patriots (11-2) held off a feisty effort from the Cougars (4-9). Senior Alyssa Costagliola scored 2 goals and tallied an assist. Senior Chloe Walters and junior Reese Metcalfe both scored 2 goals. Walters reached the 100 point milestone on her first goal of the game. Senior Abbi Lemberger and junior May Luxenberg also scored a goal. Freshman Brook Jenkins tallied an assist.
Senior Brynn Mahoney scored 5 goals in the loss for the Cougars. Senior Hannah Perlman added 3 goals and forced 3 turnovers. Senior Mackenzie Lyons added a goal and an assist. Senior Olivia Barwicki also scored a goal.
No. 5 Middletown South 6, No. 10 Point Boro 4
Sophomore Hayley Jamison exploded for a career-high 5 goals to lead the Eagles (9-4) to a victory over the Panthers (8-4). Freshman Ashley Penn scored the other goal in the victory for the Eagles.
Ocean 9, Wall 7
Junior Maddie Kirchner sank 6 shots to lead the Spartans (5-8) to a victory over the Crimson Knights (3-11). Junior Brooke Todd added 2 goals and an assist. Junior Molly Tantrum also scored a goal. Senior goalie Christina Azimov recorded 10 saves in the win for the Spartans.
