Bauer, who has been a starter since her rookie season, helped Marlboro upset their Shore Conference Tournament opening round game in a shootout against Manasquan last year. Her ability in the net keeps the Mustangs in any game they play.

Julianna Fiore, So., Middletown South

Fiore showed no nerves in her rookie season as the starting goalie for Middletown South, making the SSI All-Freshmen team. She won 16 games and had 10 shutouts in her first season for the Eagles. She also helped Middletown South win Class A North, one of the hardest divisions in New Jersey. Fiore will look to help the Eagles deeper in the state tournament after helping them reach the North Jersey Section 2 Group 3 final.

Addison Fruilo, So., Central

Another freshman that showed no fear in her first season in goal, Fruilo like Fiore helped her team make their sectional final, but lost in a shootout against Eastern. Fruilo had 17 victories and 11 shutouts. As good as Fruilo was in goal for soccer, she is even a better lacrosse player, being named SSI Freshmen of the Year in lacrosse.

Ava Schmidt, Sr., Lacey

Schmidt showed the Shore Conference her ability when she stepped in as a starter as a freshman for the injured Lorynn Leporino, helping Lacey win 13 games. After splitting time as a sophomore, Schmidt was the sole starter as a junior and helped the Lions reach the SCT semifinals. With Lacey graduating the majority of their offensive  weapons, Schmidt will be relied on even more this season.

Leila Shaw, Sr., Howell

Shaw is going into her fourth season as a starting goalie in the Shore Conference and has played in several big games. Her first two seasons were at Manalapan where they competed for a Central Jersey Group 4 title. After transferring to Howell last year, Shaw helped the Rebels reach their third straight SCT semifinal.

Emily Venezia, Sr., Trinity Hall

Similar to Schmidt, Venezia stepped in for an upper classman who was injured as a freshman. Senior Olivia Fazzolari went down with an injury and Venezia stepped in to win 10 games and posted 8 shutouts. She continued to be one of the Shore Conference’s best keepers as a sophomore posting 12 shutouts, but unfortunately she was injured in the spring of 2024 and missed her junior year.
