No. 7 Howell 3, No. 5 Wall 0
Howell (2-0) scored three goals in the first half to welcome Wall (1-1)to Class A South. Junior Makenzie Memmolo scored two goals to lead the Rebels. Senior Leila Shaw earned her first shutout of the season for Howell.
No. 1 Manalapan 4, No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 2
No. 2 Middletown South 2, Freehold Township 0
Senior forward Bea Tinoco sank 2 first half goals to lead the Eagles (2-0) past the Patriots (0-2-1). Sophomore Riley Kapler tallied an assist while sophomore goalie Julianna Fiore recorded 6 saves in the victory.
Class A South
No. 3 Central 4, Lacey 0
Junior midfielder Leah DiCillo sank 2 goals and tallied an assist to lead the Golden Eagles (2-0) past the rival Lions (1-1). DiCillo scored the only goal of the first half on an unassisted shot. Junior forward Brianna Daly added a goal early in the second half off a pass from sophomore Cali Fecak. Sophomore Katie Ytreboe also added a goal off a pass from DiCillo. Dicillo’s final goal came off a pass from senior Nicole Kangas. Sophomore goalie Addison Frulio registered 3 saves in the net.
No. 8 Point Boro 6, Brick Memorial 0
The Panthers (1-0) corralled the Mustangs (0-2) behind a 3-goal hat trick and 2 assists from senior forward Elise Viggiano. Senior forward Lily Scalabrini and sophomores Megan Viggiano and Maddie Renna each added a goal. Junior Abby Crowell and sophomores Maddie O’Connor and Ella Tranger each tallied an assist. Junior goalie Stella Stevenson recorded 1 save in the shutout.
No. 9 Toms River South 3, No. 10 Jackson 1
The Indians (2-0-1) defeated the Jaguars (2-1) behind two goals from junior Jaelyn Mayne. Both of Mayne’s goals came off passes from sophomore Daniella Gordon. Junior Fiona McGrath scored the final goal to ice the game off of a pass from junior Ellie O’Leary. Sophomore goalie Reese Lindemann saved 10 shots in the win.

St. John Vianney 5, Ocean 0
The Lancers (1-2) earned their first win of the season as they topped the Spartans (0-3) behind 5 goals from five different players. Seniors Samantha Grueiro and Caitlin Smith, junior Gabby Parker, and sophomores Lily Fitzpatrick and Kennedy Wallace each registered a goal. Wallace assisted on 2 goals while senior Ella Weiss assisted on another. Senior goalie Sofia Donello saved 3 shots.

A second half goal from junior Grace Greene off a pass from freshman Anna Noble guided the Monarchs (2-0) past the Mustangs (1-1). Senior goalie Emily Venezia saved 8 shot attempts in the shutout.

Middletown North 2, Freehold Boro 1
The Lions (3-0) edged the Colonials (2-2) behind goals from senior Haley Helwig and sophomore Grace Lober. Freshman Charlie Brink assisted on both goals.
Red Bank Regional 3, Holmdel 1
Red Bank (2-0) had three different players score to hand Holmdel (2-1) their first loss of the season. Ava Furlong, Andy Castell and Kiera Rankl all scored for the Bucs.

The Raiders (1-0) earned an opening day victory over the Rams (0-2) behind goals from both Mia Storch and junior Elle Dworzanski. Goalies Emma Mastriano and Maddie Moore combined to pitch a shutout.
Barnegat 1, Manchester 0
A second half goal by sophomore Emma Freitas off a pass from senior Laila Turchi lifted the Bengals (4-1) over the Hawks (2-1). Junior goalie Ella Tortorici was active in the net as she recorded 7 saves in the shutout.

Neptune 8, Asbury Park 0
The Scarlet Fliers (1-1) cruised past the rival Blue Bishops (0-1) behind seven first half goals. Senior forward Ellie Gomez scored a game-high 2 goals. The six other scorers included junior Charlotte Donaway, sophomores Simone Daniels and Piper Kalfin and, and freshmen Cheyenne Daye, Alayna Gomez, and Philippa Hlatky.
Long Branch 8, Keyport 2
Junior Adriana Ramirez erupted for 4 goals and 3 assists as the Green Wave (1-1) cruised past the Red Raiders (0-1). Junior Layla Bland registered 2 goals and 3 assists. Sophomore Emely Flores-Hernandez added 2 goals. Senior Ashley Martinez-Garcia tallied an assist.
Matawan 2, Ranney 1
The Huskies (3-0) edged out the Panthers (1-2) behind 2 goals from junior Paitynn Cali.
