Shore Conference Tournament

Group 1

Point Beach 7, St. Rose 3

Senior Baileigh Johnson and junior Katie Kirchner each finished with 3 goals and 2 assists as the Garnet Gulls (3-6) defeated the Purple Roses (1-8). Sophomore Cecilia O’Cone added a goal. Senior Ellie Loffreno and junior Avery Barger each tallied an assist. Sophomore goalie Alex Kuzloski recorded 12 saves in the victory.

 

Group 2

Toms River East 3, Raritan 1

The Raiders (6-0) defeated the Rockets (3-4) behind a balanced scoring effort from their underclassmen. Sophomores Brooklyn Chin and Ciley Francis as well as freshman Mia Storch each finished with a goal. Junior Elle Dworzanski and freshman Nina Shupak each tallied an assist.

Group 5

Manasquan 2, Neptune 0

Junior Samantha Price assisted on both of Manasquan’s (4-2) goals to earn them three points in SCT Group 5 as the Warriors (4-2) blanked the Scarlet Fliers (2-3-1). Senior Jordyn Hollawell scored the first goal of the game just five minutes in and sophomore Cassidy Eastmond scored a second half goal for Manasquan. Junior goalie Emily Oehlmann had two saves in the shutout.

Group 6

Brick Memorial 3, Pinelands 1

Skylar Schlagenhaft scored two goals to lead the Mustangs (1-5) to their first win of the season as they topped the Wildcats (0-7). Makayla Doheny added a third goal and assisted on another for the Mustangs who earned three points in SCT Group 6.

Group 7

Trinity Hall 7, Long Branch 0

Junior Kailyn Fitzgerald scored 2 goals and senior Maris Child registered 3 assists as the Monarchs (6-1-1) cruised past the Green Wave (2-4). Juniors Danielle Connors and Eva Shaughnessy each added a goal along with sophomore Kaylee Davis and freshmen Sophia Dourgarian and Anna Noble. Seniors Eliza Chiles, Caroline Ferguson, and Ryan Raynor as well as freshman Bette Kane each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Anna Martin recorded 3 saves.

 

Class B Central

Asbury Park at Keyport, 4 p.m.

 

Nondivisional

Wall 2, St. John Vianney 1

The Crimson Knights (3-3) topped the Lancers (4-3) behind goals from junior Megan Farrell and freshman Nora Farrell. Junior Bridget Petillo and sophomore Mya Murano each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Madalyn Peterson registered 5 saves in the net.

 

Nonconference

Point Boro 2, Notre Dame 1

The Panthers (6-0) remained unbeaten as they battled past the Fighting Irish (5-3) behind goals from senior forwards Lily Scalabrini and Elise Viggiano. Viggiano and sophomore Grace Tansey both finished with an assist. Junior goalie Stella Stevenson recorded 6 saves in the win.
