Week 4 OIB Ortho Team of the Week: Manchester Girls Basketball
Shore Sports Insider is proud to partner with OIB Ortho this winter to present our weekly OIB Ortho Girls Basketball Team of the Week Award, recognizing standout Shore Conference programs for their accomplishments on the court.

The Week 4 recipient of the 2026 OIB Ortho Team of the Week is Manchester following a week in which the Hawks went 2-0 and knocked off Southern and formerly ninth-ranked Toms River East.
Sophomore guard Jesse Sarana exploded for a game-high 31 points in addition to pulling down seven rebounds and coming away with three steals in the Hawks’ 61-59 win over Southern. Junior guard Madeline Nolan also went off with 23 points to go along with five steals, four rebounds, and four assists. Freshman forward Isabella Cellini-Winters was crucial on defense with two blocked shots and a steal.
Nolan led the effort in the following game to help the Hawks avenge an earlier season defeat against Toms River East in a 46-41 victory. Nolan finished with 22 points and eight rebounds. Sarana added 11 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Junior forward Molly Palmer chipped in four points and was vital on the boards as she grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
On Monday, Shore Sports Insider visited practice to present Manchester Head Coach Dave Beauchemin and the team with a commemorative game ball and a $250 Joe Leone’s Italian Specialties Gift Card, courtesy of our partners at Joe Leone’s, for a well-earned team meal.
