The Colts (4-2) fell behind 7-1 at the end of the first quarter and never recovered in a loss to the Rams (2-0), an honorable mention team in the USA Today national rankings.

Sophomore midfielder Danny Varone scored two goals in the loss. Junior attacker Turner Cooke added a goal and an assist. Junior Jackson Crow, sophomores Anthony Lembo and Sean McCarthy, and freshman Colton Chern each scored a goal. Freshman attacker Mason McGowan recorded two helpers while senior attacker Caden Lucich and junior midfielder Christian Fox each recorded one.

Manhasset (NY) 14, No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 6

Freehold Township 9, Hightstown 3

Junior attacker Timothy Rapczynski scored two goals and dished out an assist to lead a balanced scoring effort as the Patriots (1-5) earned their first win of the season over the Rams (0-4). Junior midfielder Johnathon Sciortino and sophomore midfielder Benjamin Brauswetter each added two goals. Senior attacker Andrew Dalton registered a goal and three assists. Senior Noah Cobb and freshman Zackery Musto also added a goal. Senior goalie Josh Lubin recorded 10 saves.
