The Warriors (2-1, 2-1) beat the Rebels (1-2, 1-2) for their first win in school history behind 108 total yards and two touchdowns by senior quarterback Savannah Lopez. Manasquan’s other win had come via a forfeit victory over St. Rose.
Lopez finished with 65 yards rushing and a touchdown and 43 yards passing and a touchdown, as well as a one-point conversion on a pass. Junior running back Gabby Restivo ran for 79 yards and had another 10 receiving in the win.
Junior Brianna Martinez led the defense with an interception return for a touchdown and sophomore Ellie Shatkus had six flag pulls and a sack.
