The second episode of the SSI Football Podcast featured guests from Point Boro and Manasquan ahead of Thursday night’s rivalry game between the Panthers and Warriors.
Point Boro head coach Brian Staub and senior quarterback Jake Clayton joined the show to preview the Panthers, while Manasquan head coach Jay Price and senior running back/defensive back Dax Klein discussed the Warriors.
Senior football editor and reporter Scott Stump joined the show to discuss the Week 1 Top 12 rankings.
Point Boro and Manasquan will meet in a rematch from last year, when the Warriors earned a 14-10 win. Both teams are coming off Week 0 victories, looking to improve to 2-0.
Clayton is coming off a game in which he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to throwing a touchdown.
Klein hauled in the game-winning 23-yard touchdown reception, in addition to throwing a touchdown pass in the last game.
