Shore Sports Insider is proud to partner with OIB Ortho this fall to present our weekly OIB Ortho Football Team of the Week Award, recognizing one Shore Conference program for its accomplishments on the field. We are also thrilled to welcome Joe Leone’s as a co-sponsor, providing a very generous $500 Pasta Party Gift Card each week to celebrate the winning team.
The Week 4 recipient of the 2026 OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Football Team of the Week is Shore Regional who delivered a historic victory, scoring 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat Freehold Twp., 27-7, and improve to 2-3 on the season.
Senior quarterback Logan Clark helped lead the charge with a 14-yard touchdown run and an 18-yard touchdown pass to senior running back Cole Torres. Torres turned in a huge performance of his own, adding touchdown runs of two and 32 yards to finish with three total touchdowns as the Blue Devils stormed back for the win.
The victory also made Shore Conference history, as it is believed to be the first time a Group 1 school has defeated a Group 5 school.
Shore Sports Insider stopped by practice to present the Shore Team with a commemorative game ball and the $500 pasta party gift card.
