2026 Week 6 NJSIAA Football Playoff Watch
Six weeks of the New Jersey high school football season are in the books, pushing us past the halfway point of the regular season. With the postseason rapidly approaching, the playoff picture is beginning to take shape and every game becomes increasingly important for teams looking to improve their position or secure a spot in the state playoffs.
Here is a look at where each Shore Conference team currently stands in the playoff picture if the playoffs started today. For a deeper dive into NJSIAA football postseason regulations please check out the the resources on the NJSIAA site.
**Note: ** The top 16 teams in each public “super section” will be “snaked” into two separate sections, regardless of geography. Teams in the South super sections will be divided into “Central” and “South” sections within each group, while teams in the North super sections will be divided into “North 1” and “North 2” sections. While the sections feature traditional sectional names, teams are snaked with no regard for geography.
South 5 Super Section
Kingsway is currently 16 in UPR, but they have not met the minimum of two wins, so they are projected out of the field.
Williamstown and Sayreville are currently tied in UPR, Williamstown currently has the tiebreaker due to a higher OSI.
