Junior guard Lana Ellington recorded a game-high 17 points and seven steals as the Scarlet Fliers (13-1, 9-0) overwhelmed the Spartans (7-12, 0-9) to clinch the outright Class A Central title. Senior guard Majiah Quarles added 11 points and five steals. Senior forward Ke’Ziha Pinnock finished with eight points and four rebounds. Sophomore guard London Carey chipped in six points to go along with eight steals and five assists.
Freehold Township 62, Freehold Boro 27
Senior guard Chloe Glickman scored a game-high 17 points as the Patriots (9-9, 6-2) defeated the rival Colonials (7-10, 1-7). Freshman February Ellison added 10 points. Sophomore Shiloh Harris finished with nine points and four assists.
Junior Olivia Batchelor scored a team-high nine points in the loss.
Middletown South 51, Middletown North 38
A trio of players each scored 11 points as the Eagles (11-7, 6-3) vanquished the rival Lions (5-12, 4-5) for the third time this season. Juniors Samantha Evans and Madison Lane as well as sophomore Megan Moller each scored a game-high 11 points. Senior Ava Loucopoulos added seven points.
Junior guard Kaelyn Gibson scored a team-high 10 points in the loss. Sophomore Cali Unkel finished with nine points. Senior Danielle Gonzalez chipped in eight points.
Class A South
Manchester 52, Point Boro 47
Junior guard Madeline Nolan poured in a game-high 25 points and sophomore guard Jesse Sarana poured in 22 points to lead the Hawks (8-8, 4-3) to a comeback victory over the Panthers (9-8, 3-4). The Hawks trailed 45-42 before ending the game on a 10-2 run.
Freshman forward Julia Collins scored a team-high 17 points in the loss.
Class B North
Holmdel 53, Ranney 46
Sophomore Casey Zammit exploded for a career-high 30 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead the Hornets (8-11, 4-5) past the Panthers (2-14, 1-8). Sophomore Claire Gillespie added eight points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Ryan Buchan finished with six points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Sophomore guard Savannah Jackson poured in 22 points in the loss. Sophomore guard Kayla Matos finished with 10 points. Sophomore guard Lucy Eibeler added nine points, six rebounds, five steals, and four assists.
No. 8 Howell 50, No. 6 Trinity Hall 33
Junior forward Kylee Beam poured in a game-high 18 points to lead the Rebels (15-4, 7-2) to a critical divisional win over the Monarchs (15-5, 7-2). Senior guard BellaRose Marino buried three treys and finished with 13 points. Sophomore guard Olivia Quinones added 12 points.
Senior forward Grace Feeney scored a team-high 11 points in the loss. Senior guard Whitney Hobson added seven points.
Class B Central
Long Branch 38, Raritan 23
Shore 53, Monmouth 24
Junior forward Grace Ascolese scored a career-high 18 points and freshman forward Sydney Tilton also scored 18 points as the Blue Devils (10-9, 7-2) topped the Falcons (5-10, 2-7). Senior guard Ava Coyle added 11 points.
Senior Angela Carter and junior Peyton Ryan each scored a team-high six points in the loss.
Class C North
Keyport 41, Asbury Park 26
Senior forward Gia Aceta registered a monstrous double-double with a game-high 17 points and 23 rebounds to lift the Red Raiders (4-8, 2-5) over the Blue Bishops (0-16, 0-7). Senior guard Skylar Breen added 12 points and five rebounds. Senior guard Jenna O’Brien chipped in six points, three assists, and three steals.
No. 9 Keansburg 51, Matawan 34
Junior guard Gianna Bettinger poured in a game-high 18 points as the Titans (16-0, 7-0) denied the Huskies (9-7, 6-2) and clinched the outright Class C North title. Senior guard Gabriella Flanzbaum added 15 points. Senior center Princess Graves finished with 14 points.
Class C South
Brick Memorial 29, Pinelands 11
Senior guard Jaedyn Kemprowski and junior center Leah Teller each scored a game-high eight points as the Mustangs (9-10, 6-2) shut down the Wildcats (5-13, 2-6). Freshman guard Mikaela Rivers added six points.
Non-Division
Manalapan 62, Lacey 53
Junior forward Brianna Libretti buried six three-pointers and erupted for a career-high 32 points to lead the Braves (12-4) past the Lions (8-11). Junior forward Katelyn Rusinak added 10 points. Freshman forward Stella Marcus chipped in eight points.
Senior forward Brooklynn Bell exploded for a career-high 33 points in the loss. Bell needs just 11 more points to reach 1,000 points for her career.
