Quarterfinals

(2) Neptune 37, (10) Steinert 25

Senior guard Majiah Quarles scored a game-high 15 points as the Scarlet Fliers (18-3) survived a rough day at the free throw line to defeat the Spartans (15-12) and advance. The Scarlet Fliers finished the game 10-for-31 at the free throw line but managed to play very good defense to make up for it. Sophomore center Bryanna Edgerson finished with 12 points. Junior guard Lana Ellington added eight points.

Sophomore guard Bella Rose registered a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Neptune will host (6) Red Bank in the semifinals in what will be a rematch from last year’s sectional final.

(1) Colts Neck 62, (9) Westampton Tech 28

Sophomore Emily Donahue scored a team-high 15 points as the Cougars (21-6) cruised past the Panthers (12-11). Senior Gabriella Bryce finished with 12 points. Sophomores Julianna Jasina and Allison McAndrew added 11 points.

Colts Neck will host (4) Ewing in the semifinals.

Sophomore guard London Bennett scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Blue Devils (17-8) eliminated the Dragons (18-9). Sophomore guard Analis Maldonado added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Junior guard Ariana Wadley finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

Sophomore guard Ariana Wissen scored a game-high 18 points in the loss. Sophomore guard Olivia Dolan added 14 points.

Brick will lose four seniors to graduations. They are projected to return their seven leading scorers from this season.

South Jersey Group 3

Quarterfinals

(6) Toms River East 62, (3) Mainland 54

Junior guard Libby Dickman buried four three-pointers and finished with a team-high 19 points to lead the Raiders (15-12) to an upset win over the Mustangs (18-10). Toms River East avenged a 54-23 defeat at the hands of Mainland less than a month ago. Junior guard Kacey Briles knocked down three treys and finished with 14 points. Sophomore center Brooke Gathman added 12 points. Junior Kylie Paladino added eight points.

Junior guard Brielle Smith scored a game-high 29 points in the loss.

Toms River East will travel to (2) Moorestown in the semifinals.

(2) Moorestown 57, (7) Toms River South 27

Senior guard Analyse Intenzo poured in a game-high 23 points as the Quakers (19-9) eliminated the Indians (19-8). Junior guard Tess Murphy finished with 17 points.

Junior guard Linsey Cribbin scored a team-high 13 points in the loss. Sophomore Daniella Gordon added eight points.

Toms River South graduates two seniors in Kelsey Weatherstone and Jessica Wycoff. They are projected to return their six leading scorers next year.

Quarterfinals

(6) Roselle Park 72, (3) Keansburg 27

Senior guard Sidney Smith erupted for a game-high 40 points including her 2,000th career point, as the Panthers (18-7) eliminated the Titans (20-4).

Senior center Princess Graves scored a team-high 10 points in the loss.

Keansburg will be hit hard by graduation losing five seniors from the winningest season in program history including leading rebounder Princess Graves, leading scorer Gabriella Flanzbaum, Jabnelyz Crespo-Borges, Hailey Geyer, and Avyanna Perrin.

(1) New Providence 60, (8) Shore 38

Senior Annie Conover narrowly missed a triple-double with 25 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists as the Pioneers (26-1) eliminated the Blue Devils (15-12). Senior Megan Henn recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Senior guard Ava Coyle scored a team-high 15 points in the loss. Freshman forward Sydney Tilton added 13 points.

Shore loses two seniors to graduation in leading scorer Ava Coyle and Lauren Davis.

South Jersey Non-Public A

Quarterfinals

(2) St. John Vianney 73, (7) Bishop Eustace 22

(1) Red Bank Catholic 75, (8) Union Catholic 22

Senior forward Addy Nyemchek went off for a game-high 27 points as the Caseys (27-2) routed the Vikings (14-11). Senior center Scarlet LeVake finished with 12 points. Senior guard Katie Liggio knocked down three treys and finished with 11 points. Senior guards Lola Giordano and Tessa Liggio each added seven points.

Red Bank Catholic will host the winner of (4) St. Thomas Aquinas and (5) Trinity Hall in the semifinals.

(4) St. Thomas Aquinas 74, (5) Trinity Hall 47

Senior forward Trista Whitney scored a game-high 19 points as the Trojans (24-6) eliminated the Monarchs (20-8). Junior guard Lauryn Downing added 18 points. Senior forward Jordan Barnes finished with 15 points.

Freshman guard Ella Krayl knocked down five three-pointers and finished with a team-high 15 points in the loss. Senior forward Grace Feeney and senior guard Bridget Rigney each added seven points.

Trinity Hall loses six seniors to graduation including Grace Feeney, Bridget Rigney, Whitney Hobson, and Niamh Stapleton.

South Jersey Non-Public B

Quarterfinals

(3) Wildwood Catholic 83, (11) Ranney 76

Sophomore guard Dani Daley lit up the stat sheet with a game-high 37 points to go along with 10 rebounds, eight steals, and six assists as the Crusaders (20-8) held off a strong effort from the Panthers (5-17). Sophomore guard Damiya Carter added 27 points. Senior guard Lily King added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Sophomore guard Savannah Jackson matched Daley’s game-high scoring output with a career-high 37 points of her own. Sophomore guard Kayla Matos finished with 16 points. Sophomore guard Lucy Eibeler added 13 points.

Ranney, who featured mostly sophomores, is projected to return their entire team next season.
