1-Brick Memorial 11, 6-Toms River North 1
Five players recorded three points each to pace a balanced offense while Brick Memorial’s defense was air-tight in front of senior goalie Matt Hillin as the Mustangs (11-6) controlled the Mariners (12-6) from start to finish to win the Coaches Cup title.
Brick Memorial opened a 3-0 lead after the first quarter, led 7-0 at halftime, and took a 10-1 lead into the fourth quarter. Senior attackman Matt Malanga, freshman midfielder Colin Fanning, and senior attackman Austin Edwards each registered two goals and one assist, while junior attackman Nick Correia had a goal and two assists and junior midfielder Justin Karlbon distributed three assists. Junior attackman Jack Deufemia scored twice and junior midfielders Evan Rojas and Shane Trautweiler scored one goal apiece. Hillin made 10 saves and also assisted on a goal by Deufemia in the third quarter.
Michael Facchinni scored Toms River North’s lone goal and Charlie Machamer made 10 saves.

A pair of hat tricks from senior James Piemonte and junior Nick Prendeville led the Panthers (10-8) past the Mustangs (10-5). Piemonte and Nick Prendeville both finished with 3 goals and 1 assist. Sophomore Matt Prendeville added 2 goals and 1 assist. Senior Andrew Michigan registered a goal and 2 assists. Junior Connor Trapanese scored a goal and tallied an assist. Junior goalie Jack Watson recorded 9 saves in the victory for the Panthers.
