Red Bank Catholic 11, Freehold Township 7

Sophomore Alexandra Rogers scored 6 goals and recorded 1 assist to help Red Bank Catholic (1-1) earn their first win of the season over Freehold Township (0-1). Senior Malia D’Alterio scored 2 goals while Senior Audrey Haugh, Freshman Rylie Bender, and Freshman Valentina Corba each scored 1 goal in the win for the Caseys. Sophomore goalie Cecilia Granatelli recorded 3 saves.

For Freehold Township, Senior Chloe Walters scored 3 goals while Senior Alyssa Costagliola added 2 goals and an assist. Freshman Addison Freyre and Junior May Luxenberg also scored 1 goal each for the Patriots.

Southern 18, Wall 4

An 8 point performance from Senior Delaney Falk helped Southern (1-0) roll to a lopsided victory over Wall (0-1) on opening day. Falk, who has over 200 career goals, finished with 5 goals and 3 assists in the win for the Rams. Senior Avery Smith also had an outstanding performance with 4 goals and 1 assist while Freshman Mackenzie Sininsky added 2 goals and 1 assist. Seven more Rams scored 1 goal including Junior Izzy Muti, Senior Piper Murray, Senior Meri Cassidy, Sophomore Shayla Kessler, Freshman Jayden Georgesen, Freshman Kaylee Gibson, and Sophomore Kellyn Miller. Junior goalie Adyson Griffin finished with 3 saves in the win.

For Wall, Junior Hannah Leete scored 2 goals while Junior Ella Schaible added 1 goal and 1 assist and Senior Caleigh McCurry added 1 goal.
