A 3 goal and 1 assist effort from sophomore O’Malley Eldridge guided Trinity Hall (3-2) past Southern (1-2). Freshman Lyla Lu scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist while senior Bridie Fitzgerald scored 2 goals. Freshmen Lucy Mallgrave and Sarina DeRosa each scored 1 goal while junior Winnie Popham tallied 1 assist. Senior goalie Leah Canterino recorded 10 saves in the win for the Monarchs.
Senior Piper Murray scored 2 goals while seniors Avery Smith and Delaney Falk scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist each. Senior Meri Cassidy added 1 goal in the loss for the Rams.
Colonial Division
Wall 21, Toms River North 9
Wall (1-5) earned their first win of the season over Toms River North (0-4) behind career-high scoring efforts from Senior Erynn Richey and junior Ella Schaible. Richey finished with 7 goals while Schaible scored 6 goals and tallied 3 assists. Junior Hannah Leete added a 3 goal hat trick. Five other Crimson Knights scored 1 goal including freshman Charlotte Switzer, senior Caleigh McCurry, senior Kirra Leonard, junior Molly Jost, and sophomore Isabella Breen. Leonard also tallied 3 assists. Senior Nina Kherkheulidze recorded 6 saves.
Juniors Olivia Sperato and Reagan Catalano each scored 2 goals in the loss for the Mariners. Five other Mariners scored 1 goal including sophomore Sofia Sanzaro, sophomore Eva Spurling, senior Tiffany Judge, sophomore Lauren Kuhn, and senior Erin Misa.
Point Boro 10, Manalapan 8
A career-high 4 goals and 2 assists from sophomore Aubrey Gilbert led Point Boro (4-1) past Manalapan (2-3). Sophomore Lucy Hauser notched her first career hat trick with 3 goals. Three other Panthers scored 1 goal each including junior Francesca Skowronski, senior Kayden Cilento, and sophomore Sienna Guierrieri. Junior goalie Sloane Schwertheim recorded 9 saves in the win for the Panthers.
Freedom Division
St. John Vianney 10, Donovan Catholic 8
Senior Makayla Mitchell exploded with a 7 goal and 1 assist effort to carry St. John Vianney (3-0) past Donovan Catholic (1-2). Freshman Grace Rispoli added 2 goals while senior Emma Albano added 1 goal. Senior goalie Victoria Golden recorded 8 saves in the win for the Lancers.
Junior Gianna DelliSanti scored a team-high 5 goals while junior Maddie Koehler scored 3 goals in the loss for the Griffins. Freshman Cailin Mundry tallied 2 assists and freshman Elise Edelman tallied 1 assist.
Independence Division
Manchester 17, Jackson Liberty 3
Senior Riley McGuire led Manchester (2-2) to a lopsided victory over Jackson Liberty (0-4) with a 5 goal performance. Junior Isabella Erli added a 3 goal hat trick while senior Riley Hayes and junior Casey Laracy each added 2 goals. Six other Hawks scored 1 goal including sophomore Ava Kenndy, sophomore Makayla Lawson, sophomore Zoey Rodriguez, senior Nahiaranette Sanchez, freshman Jesse Sarana, and junior Alexa Wnek. Sophomore Elizabeth Grausso recorded 4 saves in the win for the Hawks.
