Junior midfielder Jake Bickerton poured in four goals, as the Caseys (13-5) defeated the Panthers (11-4) to advance to the next round. Junior midfielder Joe Egan finished with three goals. Sophomore attacker Ashton Torregrossa registered two goals and an assist. Junior midfielder Thomas Muniz added a goal and an assist. Junior attacker Jack Denver and freshman midfielder Shay Brennan each scored a goal. Sophomore goalie Wyatt Curley was outstanding in the net with 18 saves.
Red Bank Catholic will travel to fifth-seeded Manasquan in the second round on Thursday.
(9) Manalapan 11, (16) Barnegat 3
Senior attacker Nick Friscia registered four goals and an assist, as the Braves (10-4) defeated the Bengals (5-11) to advance to the next round. Sophomore attacker Luke Ottenheimer finished with two goals and an assist. Junior attacker Eli Greenberg added a goal and two assists. Junior midfielder Ryan Seybuck and sophomore Bradley Bonaventura each tallied a goal and an assist. Senior midfielders Brayden Claro and Nick Tufte also added a goal. Senior goalie Connor Doel recorded 15 saves.
The Braves will travel to eighth-seeded Wall in the second round on Thursday.
(10) Middletown South 18, (15) Howell 4
Freshman Forrest Black registered four goals and three assists, as the Eagles (9-6) trounced the Rebels (6-8) to advance to the next round. Junior Ryan Colacichi recorded four goals and two assists. Freshman Colton Clark finished with three goals and two assists. Senior Luke Gaffney added two goals and an assist. Senior Jackson O’Keefe scored two goals. Seniors Ben Acquaviva and Xander Stingo, as well as junior Matt Hegel each added a goal. Freshman goalie Kyle Denery recorded four saves.
Senior midfielder Cole Reinsdorf scored three goals in the loss. Junior attacker Owen Marich added a goal.
The Eagles will travel to seventh-seeded Red Bank in the second round on Thursday.
(11) Toms River East 10, (14) Ocean 2
Junior attacker Gerard Uzzolino registered four goals and an assist, as the Raiders (6-8) topped the Spartans (10-6) to advance to the next round. Senior midfielder Nicholas Caruso and junior midfielder Malcolm Smith each finished with two goals and an assist. Senior Riley Weber added a goal and an assist. Senior midfielder Andrew Heid scored his first career goal.
The Raiders will travel to sixth-seeded Shore in the second round on Thursday.

Senior defender John Lake scored his first career goal. Sophomore Casey Mahoney recorded four assists, while sophomore Parker Basaman recorded two assists. Junior goalie MJ Femenella recorded five saves, while senior goalie Thomas Canning recorded three saves.
