Senior Ella Felicetta recorded her first career hat trick, as the Mariners (1-0) stormed past the Lions (0-1). Five other players scored goals including senior Olivia Forlenza, juniors Gabby Veracierta,  sophomore Chloe Thomas, and freshmen Bailey McLean and Kaylee McKee. Senior goalie Lena Salvaggione made five saves.

Lacey scored on an own goal and freshman Claire Hess added a goal in the loss. Sophomore goalie Brooke Baldaccini tallied 12 saves.

Colts Neck 2, Donovan Catholic 0

Senior Olivia Brown and sophomore Liv DiTuri each netted a goal, as the Cougars (1-0) blanked the Griffins (0-1) on opening day.

Manchester 4, Brick 0

Junior Christine Flanagan tallied a goal and an assist as the Hawks (1-0) blanked the Dragons (0-1) on opening day. Seniors Ariana Baranyay and Madeline Nolan and freshman Alyssa Ruff each added a goal, while senior Makayla Lawson, junior Jesse Sarana, and sophomore Rylee Seaman each recorded an assist. Senior goalie Gabriella Dew made four saves to preserve the shutout.

Senior goalie Ella Tortorici registered 12 saves, as the Bengals (0-0-1) battled the Pirates (0-0-1) to a scoreless tie.
