Former Monmouth University guard Xander Rice defends former Brookdale and Manchester guard Mason Jones. Rice played professionally for Papagou in Greece this past season. Former Mater Dei Prep guard Kyle Cardaci nets 1 of his game high 27 points. Cardaci plays professionally for Zornotza in Spain.
Former Matawan guard Andre Wells who earned All-NJAC honors at William Paterson, drives against a defender. Wells scored a team-high 23 points.
Sterns Trailer 113, Ortho-NJ 108
Former Toms River North guard Jakari Spence drives past a defender on his way to a team-high 30 points. Spence finished his college career at Jacksonville after 3 years at Monmouth.
Ortho-NJ’s Denzel Mensah finished with a team-high 30 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Mensah, a Penn State Wilkes-Barre alumnus, was the FIBA Certified World Leading Scorer in 2021-2022 averaging 44.9 ppg overseas.
