Shore Sports Insider is proud to partner with OIB Ortho this fall to present our weekly OIB Ortho Football Team of the Week Award, recognizing one Shore Conference program for its accomplishments on the field. The Week 2 recipient of the 2026 OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Football Team of the Week is Pinelands, as the Wildcats improved to a perfect 4-0 (2-0) with another dominant defensive performance, shutting out the Lions, 14-0, for their third shutout of the season.
Senior quarterback Jamie Jenkins connected with senior wide receiver Anthony Bonds for a 29-yard touchdown, while junior running back RJ Clark powered his way into the end zone on a 7-yard run to provide the scoring.
But the story once again was the Wildcats’ defense, which slammed the door on the Lions and has now posted three shutouts through the first four games.
With the victory, the Wildcats remain unbeaten at 4-0 and continue their impressive start to the 2026 season.
Shore Sports Insider along with a special guest Joe Introna, the founder of Joe Leone’s Italian Specialties stopped by practice to present the Wall Team with a commemorative game ball and the $500 pasta party gift card.
