OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Week 7 Shore Conference Football Team of the Week: RBC

Shore Sports Insider OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Team of the Week – Week 7

Shore Sports Insider is proud to partner with OIB Ortho this fall to present our weekly OIB Ortho Football Team of the Week Award, recognizing one Shore Conference program for its accomplishments on the field. We are also thrilled to welcome Joe Leone’s as a co-sponsor, providing a very generous $500 Pasta Party Gift Card each week to celebrate the winning team.

The Week 7 recipient of the 2026 OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Football Team of the Week is Red Bank Catholic. In one of the most anticipated Shore Conference matchups of the season, No. 2 Red Bank Catholic delivered a statement victory, knocking off previously unbeaten No. 1 Donovan Catholic, 24-10, to reclaim the top spot in the Shore Conference rankings.

Sophomore running back Gabe Kemp led the charge with a tremendous three-touchdown performance, powering his way into the end zone on runs of 1, 2, and 5 yards. Sophomore kicker Simon Picinich added a 35-yard field goal as the Caseys controlled the scoreboard against one of the Shore’s toughest opponents.

It was the RBC defense that delivered one of the game’s defining moments. With the Caseys holding a 17-10 lead and Donovan Catholic threatening, junior defensive end Asher Cummins came up with a huge fourth-down sack, shutting down the Griffins’ drive and shifting the momentum firmly in RBC’s favor. The Caseys capitalized with another touchdown to put the game away.

Shore Sports Insider stopped by practice to present the Red Bank Catholic team with a commemorative game ball and the $500 pasta party Joe Leone’s gift card.

Congratulations to Red Bank Catholic, the Week 7 OIB Ortho/Joe Leone’s Football Team of the Week!
