Luce Moccia and Luca Delonardo combined on a three-hit shutout and the Blue Devils scratched across the lone run of the game thanks to two Colts Neck errors in the top of the third on the way to beating the Cougars for the third annual Ted Jarmusz Bracket championship.

An error leading off the third got the deciding rally started and Shore intensified the threat thanks to back-to-back one-out singles by Liam Hennelly and Ryan Barham to load the bases. After a strikeout for the second out, Russomano scored on a pick-off throw that got away and Nick Pignatelli ended the threat by inducing a ground out.
