Rich Cammaratta capped his 3-for-3 game at the plate with a single through the middle that scored pinch-runner Devin Kain with the winning run from third base in the bottom of the seventh and the Braves salvaged a season split with the Rebels behind a four-hit shutout by senior left-hander Noah Feldman.

No. 1 CBA 17, Middletown South 4 (6 Innings)
No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 2, Ranney 1
Luke Lonczak ripped an RBI double and scored on a wild pitch in the third inning, which was enough offense for right-hander Glen Popes to pitch the Caseys past the Panthers in a complete-game three-hitter.
Miles Nessan led off the third with single and reached third on an errant pickoff attempt at first base before scoring on Lonczak’s double down the leftfield line. Lonczak moved up to third on a ground out and scored on a wild pitch before Aiden Funk hit a single for RBC’s third hit of the inning — the only hits the Caseys mustered against Ranney freshman Jake Abrams. In his first career complete game, Abrams set down the side in order in four of his six innings and after a leadoff walk in the second, he struck out the next three.
Popes worked around a base-runner in three of the first four innings to take a shutout in the fifth, when Ranney scratched across its lone run. Brody Mauro drew a one-out walk, stole second, advanced to third on a bloop single by David Cantin and scored on an RBI ground out by Nico Owimrin. Popes stranded the tying run at second base by coaxing a ground ball to third baseman Landon Laido, the retired the Panthers in order in each of his final two innings.

Class A South
No. 3 Wall 3, No. 6 Toms River East 0
Nick Plevier fired a four-hit shutout and wiggled out of trouble in the bottom of the sixth inning to preserve the lead and spark the Crimson Knights to a win over the Raiders that tightened their grip on first place in the Shore Conference Class A South standings.
Will Hague and Austin Harr each came through with an RBI single in the top of the sixth inning and in the bottom of the frame, Toms River East loaded the bases with none out. Plevier induced a pop-up, then coaxed an inning-ending, five-six double-play to keep the shutout intact. Max Mika hit a two-out single in the bottom of the seventh to keep Toms River East alive, but Plevier got a fly out to end the game.

Andrew Barham had a hand in all three run-scoring hits by Shore, then came on to record the final two outs on the mound to save the win for Liam Hennelly, deliver the Blue Devils their third straight victory, and snap a seven-game winning streak by the Lancers.
Barham singled and scored on an RBI single by Trevor Doremus in the top of the second inning and in the top of the sixth, he laced a two-run double before scoring on an RBI single by Braden Calandriello to give Hennelly a four-run cushion heading to the final two innings.
Barham took over with the score 4-0, one out and runners on second and third and gave up an RBI single to Anthony Bavaro, who was caught attempting to stretch his single into a double for the second out of the inning. Barham retired the next batter on a fly out to Doremus in leftfield to end the game.
