For the first time in program history, Trinity Hall sits atop the Shore Sports Insider Top 10 rankings. The Monarchs captured their first Shore Conference Tournament championship with a dominant defensive performance, shutting out every opponent throughout their historic title run.
In the championship game, senior Kailyn Fitzgerald delivered the golden goal in the first overtime period to lift Trinity Hall past Toms River South, 1-0, following 85 minutes of scoreless soccer. Senior Grace Greene anchored a defense that neutralized the Indians’ high-powered attack, while senior goalkeeper O’Neal Hile made eight saves to secure the Monarchs’ 12th shutout of the season.
Hile was equally instrumental in Trinity Hall’s semifinal victory over Central. After the teams battled to a scoreless draw through 100 minutes for the third consecutive season, Hile came up with three straight saves in the penalty shootout to keep the Monarchs alive and ultimately help send them to the championship game.
Trinity Hall is projected to earn the No. 4 seed in the South Jersey Non-Public A sectional and will host Our Lady of Mercy in the opening round as the Monarchs look to carry their championship momentum into the state tournament.

Despite playing a player down for 75 minutes, Toms River South pushed Trinity Hall to the limit in the Shore Conference Tournament final before suffering a heartbreaking 1-0 overtime defeat. Junior goalkeeper Reese Lindemann delivered a season-high 11 saves, including a crucial penalty kick stop in the 10th minute, to keep the Indians within striking distance throughout the championship battle.
Toms River South earned its first SCT final appearance since 2002 with a convincing 4-0 victory over Freehold Township in the semifinal round. Juniors Emma Turnbach and Sadie Kartikis each contributed a goal and an assist as the Indians continued their impressive postseason run.
The Indians now turn their attention to the South Jersey Group 3 sectional, but first face a challenging final week of preparation with road games against No. 9 Howell on Tuesday and No. 10 Rumson-Fair Haven on Thursday. Toms River South projects to enter the state tournament as the No. 4 seed and host Medford Tech in the opening round. A potential semifinal showdown with top-seeded Shawnee looms, offering the Indians an opportunity to avenge last season’s hard-fought 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Renegades.
3. Central (14-3-1) Last Week: 2

For the third consecutive season, Central and Trinity Hall battled through 100 minutes of scoreless soccer in the Shore Conference Tournament, and for the second straight year, the Golden Eagles came out on the losing end of a penalty shootout. Central controlled much of the action and consistently pressured the Trinity Hall defense but could not find the breakthrough goal. The Golden Eagles had an opportunity to secure the victory in the shootout but were unable to deliver the decisive kick, bringing their SCT championship hopes to a heartbreaking end.
Central will travel to No. 9 Howell for its final preparation ahead of the South Jersey Group 3 tournament. After competing in South Jersey Group 4 last season, the Golden Eagles move into a challenging Group 3 field that features state-ranked Shawnee as the projected top seed. Central is projected to earn the No. 2 seed and host Pennsauken in the opening round, with a potential showdown against Shawnee looming in the sectional championship.
4. Red Bank Catholic (13-2-1) Last Week: 4

Red Bank Catholic opened last week with a 2-0 victory over No. 6 St. John Vianney in a Shore Conference Tournament consolation game. Senior Nina Bicej netted her team-leading 11th goal of the season, while junior Lexi Sinatra added her second goal of the year as the Caseys continued building momentum ahead of the state tournament.
RBC followed with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bridgewater-Raritan in a crucial matchup with postseason seeding implications. Senior Kaegan Houlihan delivered the game-winning goal, while senior goalkeeper Heidi Wierman made two saves to record her 10th shutout of the season.
Red Bank Catholic will travel to Old Bridge for one final tune-up before turning its attention to the state tournament. The Caseys are projected to earn the No. 2 seed in South Jersey Non-Public A and host the winner of the projected Immaculata-Camden Catholic matchup in their postseason opener.
5. Point Boro (13-2) Last Week: 5

Point Boro bounced back from its Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal exit with a convincing 3-0 victory over Central Jersey Group 2 rival Wall in its lone consolation game last week. Junior Bella Casalino led the offense with two goals, while Maddie Renna added a goal and an assist as the Panthers gained momentum heading into the state tournament.
The Panthers continued their winning ways Monday with a 2-1 victory over St. Rose in their final postseason tune-up. Renna netted her team-leading 23rd goal of the season, while Mia Thompson scored her first goal of the year to help Point Boro secure another victory.
Point Boro is projected to earn the No. 3 seed in Central Jersey Group 2 and host Pemberton in the opening round. If the projected bracket holds and both Point Boro and Wall advance, the Shore Conference rivals would meet in the sectional tournament for the fourth consecutive season. The Panthers have won each of the last two postseason meetings, including a dramatic victory decided by penalty kicks last year.

St. John Vianney endured a difficult start to the week following its Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal loss to Toms River South, falling to No. 4 Red Bank Catholic in a consolation game. The Lancers responded Saturday with an impressive 4-0 victory over Middletown South, featuring four different goal scorers. Senior Gabby Parker netted her 15th goal of the season as SJV strengthened its case for the top seed in a loaded South Jersey Non-Public A field.
The Lancers will host Bridgewater-Raritan on Thursday in their final non-conference tune-up before the state tournament begins. SJV is projected to earn the No. 1 seed in South Jersey Non-Public A, securing a first-round bye and a second-round home game against the winner of the projected Princeton Day-St. Rose matchup.
7. Freehold Township (9-7-2) Last Week: 7

Freehold Township’s Shore Conference Tournament run came to an end in the semifinal round with a 4-0 loss to Toms River South. The Patriots put together an impressive postseason stretch, earning road victories over Howell and Point Boro before falling one win short of reaching the championship game.
The Patriots will host Toms River East this week in their final tune-up before beginning their defense of the Central Jersey Group 4 sectional title. Freehold Township is projected to earn the No. 2 seed and host Hightstown in the opening round. With Shore Conference rival Howell projected as the No. 3 seed, a potential semifinal showdown could set up the third meeting between the teams this season, this time with a trip to the sectional championship on the line.
8. Wall (12-7) Last Week: 8

Wall has played just once since its Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal loss to eventual champion Trinity Hall, falling 3-0 to Central Jersey Group 2 rival Point Boro last week. The Knights will look to regain momentum when they travel to Jackson for a non-divisional matchup in their final tune-up before the state tournament.
Wall is projected to earn the No. 6 seed in Central Jersey Group 2 and host Delran in the opening round. If the projected bracket holds and both Wall and Point Boro advance, the Shore Conference rivals would meet in the sectional tournament for the fourth consecutive season. Point Boro has won the last two postseason meetings, giving the Knights an opportunity to reverse that trend with a potential trip to the sectional semifinals on the line.
9. Howell (8-6-2) Last Week: 10
Howell has bounced back from its Shore Conference Tournament second-round loss to rival Freehold Township, putting together a 2-0-1 stretch as the Rebels prepare for the Central Jersey Group 4 tournament. Howell opened the week with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Middletown South, powered by two-goal performances from Peyton Parsons and Isabella Farinick.
The Rebels followed with a convincing 5-0 victory over Rumson-Fair Haven, breaking the game open with four second-half goals. Five different players found the back of the net, with juniors Kylie Keating and Farinick each contributing a goal and an assist. Junior goalkeeper Quinn Merkel made nine saves to record her fifth shutout of the season. Howell closed out the week with a 1-1 draw against Marlboro to extend its unbeaten streak to three games.
Howell faces two significant tests this week before turning its attention to the state tournament, hosting No. 2 Toms River South on Tuesday and No. 3 Central on Thursday. The Rebels are projected to earn the No. 3 seed in Central Jersey Group 4 and host North Brunswick in the opening round as they look to carry their recent momentum into the postseason.
10.Rumson-Fair Haven (9-5-1) Last Week: 9
Rumson-Fair Haven bounced back from its heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to Toms River South in the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament with a 2-1 consolation victory over Freehold Boro. Senior Summer O’Malley led the way with a goal and an assist, while junior Lily Halpern added a goal. The Bulldogs could not carry that momentum into their next matchup, suffering a lopsided 5-0 defeat to No. 9 Howell to close out the week.
Rumson faces two challenging tests before the state tournament, traveling to Marlboro on Tuesday and hosting No. 2 Toms River South on Thursday. The Bulldogs are projected to earn the No. 8 seed in Central Jersey Group 2 and host ninth-seeded Manasquan in the opening round. If the projected bracket holds, the winner would advance to face top-seeded Metuchen in the quarterfinals.
A potential boost could be waiting for Rumson if the Bulldogs advance deep into the sectional tournament. Reigning Player of the Year Jordyn Sullivan could return to the lineup for a possible semifinal appearance following the conclusion of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on November 7, the same day the sectional quarterfinals are scheduled to be played.
