St. Rose 10, Shore 4
Freshman Morgan McGee crushed a home run, as the Purple Roses (6-4, 4-3) defeated the Blue Devils (5-4, 3-4). Senior pitcher Emily Torresdal struck out eight batters and allowed six hits and three walks in the win. Torresdal also went 2-for-4 at the plate with an RBI. Sophomore Elena Scelfo was 4-for-5 with four RBI’s.
Junior Mary Hennelly went 2-for-3 with two RBI’s in the loss.
Independence
New Egypt 13, Point Beach 5
Freshman Samantha Garcia hit a 3-RBI double, as the Warriors (2-4, 2-4) defeated the Garnet Gulls (3-6, 1-5). Sophomore Caroline Davis went 3-for-3 with three doubles and three runs. Sophomore Kylie White hit a 2-RBI single. Junior Elizabeth Potts was 3-for-5 with an RBI. Sophomore pitcher Kylie White struck out two batters and allowed six hits and four walks in the win.
Senior Bridget Kane went 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs in the loss.

Lacey 4, Trinity Hall 3
Patriot
Brick 16, Keansburg 3
Leading 3-0 after the 1st inning, Brick (6-1, 6-1) scored 12 runs in the bottom of the second to defeat division rival Keansburg (5-2, 5-2). Sicilia Booker went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and three RBI’s to lead the Dragons. Booker also struck out 14 batters and only allowed one earned run to earn the victory. Abbie Fischer went 2-for-3 with a RBI.
Senior Gianna Cruz went 1-for-3 with a run scored for Keansburg.
Henry Hudson 9, Neptune 8
Trailing 7-6 going into the bottom of the 6th inning, Henry Hudson (3-3, 3-2) scored three runs to take the final lead of the game and defeat Neptune (2-5, 2-4). Freshman Addison Kosakowski drove in two runs and Leah Curry scored and batted in a run for Henry Hudson.
Julia Fields struck out 14 batters on the mound and hit a home run for Neptune. Miah Quarles went 2-for-2 with two triples and four RBI’s.
Non-Division
Middletown North 11, Toms River North 1 (6 innings)
Junior pitcher Grace English struck out six batters and allowed just three hits and a walk, as the Lions (3-7) topped the Mariners (5-2). Senior Brianna Soto went 3-for-3 with a home run. Sophomore Ellie Gottschalk was 2-for-3 with three RBI’s. Sophomore Abby Esposito hit a triple.
Pinelands 20, Toms River South 10 (6 innings)
Sophomore Sage Bundy batted 4-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI’s, as the Wildcats (3-6) defeated the Indians (5-3). Freshman Alannah Lydon went 2-for-2 with a walk, a double, and three RBI’s. Senior Audra Daniel was 2-for-4 with three RBI’s. Junior Cassie Gould finished 2-for-3 with two walks and two RBI’s.
Sophomore Mikayla Lindemann went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI’s, and two walks in the loss.
Non-Conference
Lakewood 10, Trenton 6
Sophomore pitcher Celine Castro struck out 12 batters and batted 2-for-5 with an RBI at the plate, as the Piners (1-5) earned their first win of the season over the Tornadoes (1-6). Sophomore Nathaly Izaguirre went 2-for-4 with three RBI’s. Senior Gisell Nieves was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI’s. Sophomore Ja’ziyah Hunter and Dilenia Oquendo each went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
