Junior DP Mary Hennelly went 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI’s, and a run, as the Blue Devils (14-4, 8-4) defeated the Braves (10-10, 8-4) to clinch a share of the Constitution Division title. Shore, Manalapan, and Ocean each finished 8-4 within the division, finishing as tri-champions. Junior P Ayden Kampf batted 2-for-5 with an RBI and struck out four batters in the win. Senior CF Olivia DeFonce was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs.
Non-Division
No. 8 Barnegat 14, Manchester 0 (5 innings)
Junior pitcher Gianna Gomez recorded 15 strikeouts and allowed only one walk in a 5-inning no-hitter, as the Bengals (18-1) topped the Hawks (9-8). Sophomore Brooke Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI’s, and two runs. Junior Gianna Skwirut was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI’s, and two runs. Senior Jadeyn Bodziak batted 2-for-3 with two RBI’s.
Matawan 11, Manasquan 7
Junior C Elyssa Jamandron batted 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, an RBI, and a run, as the Huskies (11-7) beat the Warriors (4-13). Senior pitcher Emma Kriegstein went 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI’s, and two runs. Senior 2B Bella Sierra was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s.

No. 10 Raritan 10, New Egypt 4
Sophomore RF Brielle Brosonski smoked a grand slam to center field, as the Rockets (15-6) defeated the Warriors (10-9). Junior CF Madison Regiec went 4-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI’s, and a run. Junior pitcher Payton Fleming was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and a run, in addition to striking out nine batters on the mound. Sophomore 3B Chloe Mancuso finished 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a run.
Toms River South 20, Lakewood 2 (5 innings)
Sophomore SS Ella Fischer batted 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, five RBI’s, and three runs, as the Indians (11-10) routed the Piners (3-13). Senior CF Addison Tupper went 1-for-2 with a home run, three walks, three RBI’s, and four runs. Junior 3B Samantha DiNicola was 4-for-5 with four RBI’s and three runs. Senior pitcher Allie Meyer struck out six batters and allowed five hits and three walks in the win.
Point Boro 12, Lacey 1
No. 1 St. John Vianney 11, Toms River East 0 (6 innings)
Junior CF Mia Favato batted 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI’s, as the Lancers (20-0) blanked the Raiders (13-5). Senior SS Gabby Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI’s, and two runs. Freshman RF Maddie Richter was 2-for-3 with a solo home run. Senior pitcher Madison McDougall finished 2-for-4 with a triple, three RBI’s, and two runs, in addition to striking out 11 batters and allowing only two hits in the win.
St. Rose 16, Brick 3 (5 innings)
Freshman 3B Charlee Johnson batted 3-for-3 with a triple, a walk, five RBI’s, and two runs, as the Purple Roses (8-12) overpowered the Dragons (11-5). Senior DP Bridget Taylor went 3-for-4 with four RBI’s and a run. Senior RF Stevie Greco was 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI’s, and three runs. Senior pitcher Emily Torresdal recorded eight strikeouts and allowed only three hits in the win.
Colts Neck 8, Southern 7 (9 innings)
A walk-off single from sophomore CF Adrianna Bryce lifted the Cougars (9-8) over the Rams (10-7) in a 9-inning thriller.
Colts Neck was trailing 5-3 heading into the bottom of the 7th innings when a single from junior LF Gabriella Horbal set the table for senior SS Gabriella Bryce to blast a game-tying home run to center field.
Southern took the lead once again in the top of the 8th inning to make the score 7-5. The Cougars once again responded, as Horbal doubled on a line drive to right field to score Adrianna Bryce and Helms.
Rumson-Fair Haven vs Ocean- PPD 5/19
Brick Memorial 3, Toms River North 1
Junior pitcher Avery Nalducci recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed only two hits and a walk, as the Mustangs (5-12) defeated the Mariners (8-9). Freshman Gabrielle Vida went 1-for-3 with a 2-run home run. Freshman Isabella Santiago hit an RBI single. Junior Carly Hobbs was 2-for-3 with a double and a run.
Non-Conference
Rutgers Prep 9, Keansburg 6
Freshman 3B Kyleigh Adler batted 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBI’s, and a run, but the Titans (8-9) fell to the Argonauts (7-7). Sophomore 2B Celita Hernandez went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run. Senior CF Jabnelyz Crespo-Borges hit an RBI double.
Carteret 22, Long Branch 15
The Green Wave (2-14) were unable to slow down the bats from the Ramblers (4-18), giving up 11 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning on their way to a loss.
Junior pitcher Bella Anechiarico batted 3-for-5 with a triple, four RBI’s, and two runs in the loss. Sophomore 2B Harmoni Hodge went 3-for-5 with a triple and three runs. Sophomore CF Amyah Graham was 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and two runs.
Henry Hudson 10, Piscataway Magnet 0 (5 innings)
Sophomore pitcher Lucia Fariello struck out seven batters and allowed only five hits, as the Admirals (8-6) blanked the Raiders (7-11). Senior Alex Belusko batted 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI’s. Senior Marishka Evelich went 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, two RBI’s, and two runs. Freshman Addison Kosakowski finished 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI, and three runs. Freshman Molly Hensle was 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI.
No. 3 Marlboro 14, South Brunswick 4 (5 innings)
Junior pitcher Isabella Wuelfing batted 4-for-5 with a triple, a double, two RBI’s, and two runs, as the Mustangs (13-6) trounced the Vikings (4-18). Wuelfing recorded eight strikeouts and allowed only five hits in the win. Sophomore 3B Samantha Gellis went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI’s, and two runs. Junior C Reese Grinberg was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI’s. Senior Emily Gaudio, starting at SS instead of her usual spot at pitcher, went 2-for-4 with two RBI’s and a run. Junior 2B Alyssa Abadiatokis finished 2-for-3 with two RBI’s and two runs. Freshman RF Samantha Joy batted 2-for-3 with two RBI’s and a run.
Mount St. Dominic 4, No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 0
The Caseys (10-9) fell to the Lady Lions (22-2) despite a solid performance from sophomore pitcher Mackenna Savage, who recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed four hits and two walks in the loss. Savage also went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Steinert 2, No. 2 Donovan Catholic 0
Senior pitcher Ellie Miller recorded six strikeouts and allowed only three hits and four walks, as the Spartans (16-4) handed the Griffins (20-1) their first loss of the season.
Sophomore LF Julianna Vignets went 2-for-2 with a triple and a walk in the loss. Freshman 3B Riley Laing recorded a single.
