Junior Emma Naples batted 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI’s, as the Mustangs (8-13) defeated the Warriors (4-15). Junior pitcher Avery Nalducci went 2-for-5 with two RBI’s. Junior SS Carly Hobbs was 3-for-4 with three runs. Nalducci recorded 13 strikeouts in the win.

Freshman Devyn Weber batted 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, four RBI’s, and a run in the loss.

Howell 6, Ocean 4

Junior Nicolette Caronia went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s, as the Rebels (11-10) beat the Spartans (11-10). Senior Madison Winemiller was 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, and two runs.

Junior Sadie Miller batted 1-for-2 with a walk and two RBI’s in the loss.

Jackson 11, Manchester 3

Senior pitcher Emily Hersh recorded 13 strikeouts, as the Jaguars (10-9) prevailed over the Hawks (9-10). Sophomore RF Jaida Parikh went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI’s, and a run. Hersh batted 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs.

Senior pitcher Gabriella Minneci batted 3-for-4 with two triples, a double, and a run in the loss. Junior CF Annabelle Gray went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI’s.

Lacey 9, Brick 2

Junior pitcher Bella Byk recorded six strikeouts and allowed only four hits and one hit batter in the win. Freshman Leah Simonson went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs. Senior Chloe Emmons was 1-for-1 with three walks, an RBI, and a run.

No. 4 Middletown South 8, Edison 1

Junior pitchers Riley Smith, Reagan Heaney, and Celia Collings combined to strikeout 11 batters and allow only two hits and 6 walks, as the Eagles (15-7) topped the Eagles (19-6). Smith recorded five strikeouts and allowed two walks in two innings. Heaney recorded one strikeout and allowed two walks in two innings. Collings recorded five strikeouts and allowed two hits and a walk in three innings.

Sophomore LF Quinnlynn Heaney hit a solo home run. Smith batted 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI’s.

No. 5 Red Bank Catholic 11, Governor Livingston 1 (6 innings)

Junior SS Grace Lombardi went 3-for-4 with three RBI’s and two runs, as the Caseys (12-10) dominated the Highlanders (14-7). Senior C Jayden Kane was 3-for-4 with three RBI’s. Junior RF Grace Grimaldi batted 2-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and two runs. Sophomore pitcher Mackenna Savage recorded eight strikeouts and allowed only four hits and two walks in the win.

New Egypt 16, North Plainfield 2 (5 innings)
