Sophomore pitcher Mackenna Savage fanned nine batters and allowed only one hit and three walks, as the Caseys (6-4, 4-4) blanked the Cougars (3-7, 3-5). Senior Torri Case crushed a solo home run. Senior catcher Jayden Kane had an RBI single and scored a run. Junior Grace Grimaldi had an RBI double. Junior Grace Lombardi went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
No. 1 St. John Vianney 13, Middletown North 0 (5 innings)
Senior pitcher Madison McDougall struck out 11 batters and only allowed two hits and a walk, while also hitting for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with four RBI’s and three runs, as the Lancers (12-0, 7-0) routed the Lions (4-8, 0-7) to clinch no worse than a share of the American Division title. Junior 3B Brynn Utter went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI’s, a walk, and three runs. Sophomore 1B Lexie Csontos was 1-for-2 with three RBI’s. Junior CF Mia Favato recorded a 2-RBI single.
No. 4 Marlboro 4, No. 3 Middletown South 1
Senior pitcher Emily Gaudio recorded nine strikeouts and allowed four hits and two walks in addition to hitting a 2-run RBI single, as the Mustangs (7-3, 4-3) prevailed over the Eagles (8-3, 5-3). Junior Ashlee Chen went 2-for-2 with two doubles, an RBI, and a walk. Junior Isabella Wuelfing was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs.
Sophomore Jordyn Cowell was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the loss.
Colonial
Matawan 9, Wall 5
Senior pitcher/DP Emma Kriegstein crushed a 2-run home run and walked twice, as the Huskies (6-3, 5-2) topped the Crimson Knights (2-8, 2-6). Junior catcher Elissa Jamandron wwent 1-for-1 with an RBI double and two walks. Junior LF Devynn Whinna was 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Sophomore Ladai Velazquez hit a solo home run in the loss. Sophomore Amanda Regan went 2-for-4 with two RBI’s. Junior Addison Lawrence was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
No. 9 Raritan 1, Freehold Township 0
Junior pitcher Payton Fleming recorded eight strikeouts and allowed six hits and two walks in a complete game, as the Rockets (8-3, 5-2) edged the Patriots (2-6, 2-6). In the bottom of the 4th inning, Fleming reached first base on a dropped third strike and proceeded to advance and ultimately score on three wild pitches for what would be the eventual winning run.
Howell 5, No. 8 Holmdel 4
The Rebels (4-6, 2-6) stunned the Hornets (8-1, 7-1) with a furious rally after trailing 4-0 early on. Howell scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and held the lead the rest of the way. Sophomore Ellie Beam opened the inning with a double to left field. Beam advanced to third base on a passed ball before scoring on an RBI single from senior 1B Madison Winemiller. Junior 2B Nicolette Caronia singled on a ground ball to left field, before freshman pitcher Gianna Lisi sacrifice bunted to advance the runners. Senior Alyssa Morales and junior 3B Hailey Ruditsky recorded back-to-back RBI singles to tie the game. Sophomore SS Katelynn Murphy crushed a triple to center field to give the Rebels the lead.
Constitution
Ocean 14, Manasquan 1 (5 innings)
Three different players crushed home runs, as the Spartans (6-2, 6-2) raced past the Warriors (3-6, 3-5). Junior Ryleigh Circo went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI’s, and two runs. Freshman Taylor Scotto was 1-for-1 with a home run, three walks, two RBI’s, and three runs. Sophomore pitcher Colleen Zdan hit a solo home run. Zdan also struck out eight batters and allowed only two hits and three walks.
Shore 16, Monmouth 3
Junior Ayden Kampf was a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, five RBI’s, and four runs, as the Blue Devils (7-4, 5-4) cruised past the Falcons (3-8, 1-7). Freshman Kayla Delia went 1-for-2 a walk and three RBI’s. Junior Peyton Waterman batted 1-for-2 with two RBI’s.
Freehold Boro 13, St. Rose 6
Freshman pitcher Vanessa Karabin went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, and three RBI’s, as the Colonials (8-4, 6-3) topped the Purple Roses (6-7, 4-5). Freshman Nyla Bartuck was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, three RBI’s, and four runs. Junior Katherine Martin batted 2-for-3 with three RBI’s. Sophomore Maria Nicosia finished 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s.

Southern 4, Central 2 (10 innings)
Senior Emily Zellman went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and three walks, as the Rams (7-5, 5-2) edged the Golden Eagles (6-6, 2-5). Junior pitcher Samantha Jillson struck out three batters and allowed only five hits in 10 innings. Junior Abigail Krill was 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, and an RBI. Junior Brooke Sutter hit an RBI single.
Senior Madison Ryan hit a 2-RBI double in the loss.
Patriot
Brick 15, Long Branch 3 (5 innings)
Senior pitcher Sicilia Booker struck out six batters and allowed four hits and four walks, as the Dragons (7-3, 7-1) overwhelmed the Green Wave (1-7, 1-6). Senior Jordan Mulhearn went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI’s, and two runs. Junior Emily Figa was 3-for-4 with two RBI’s and two runs.
Henry Hudson 21, Lakewood 6
Freshman Addison Kosakowski went 3-for-3 with four RBI’s and four runs, as the Admirals (5-3, 5-2) routed the Piners (1-8, 0-6). Senior Alex Belusko was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, four RBI’s, and three runs. Senior Marishka Evelich finished 4-for-4 with a walk, three RBI’s, and three runs.
Keansburg 13, Neptune 9
Freshman Taylor Diaz batted 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI’s, and a run, as the Titans (6-3, 6-3) prevailed over the Scarlet Fliers (3-6, 3-5). Sophomore Janessa Muniz went 1-for-3 with three RBI’s, one HBP, and a two runs. Junior Shaughnessy Bodnar finished 1-for-2 with two walks and two RBI’s. Senior Gabriella Flanzbaum went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s.
