Senior SS Madison Wilbert went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, and three RBI’s, as the Wildcats (7-9, 3-6) pulled away from the Jaguars (6-7, 4-6) with a four-run sixth inning. Senior CF Jozlyn Peterson was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and an RBI.

Central 18, Point Boro 1 (4 innings)

Senior Leah Bollettino went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI’s, as the Golden Eagles (9-6, 4-5) routed the Panthers (3-10, 2-8). Senior Jaelynn Witte was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Senior AnnaRose Torres finished 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI’s. Sophomore pitcher Hailey Craddock struck out six batters in the win.

No. 2 Donovan Catholic 11, Southern 0 (5 innings)

Seniors Caroline Kopp and Madison Kelliher along with junior Mia Kelliher each cracked a home run, as the Griffins (16-0, 10-0) blanked the Rams (7-6, 5-3). Kopp finished 1-for-2 with the home run, two walks, two RBI’s, and two runs, while Kelliher finished 1-for-2 with the home run, a walk, two RBI’s, and two runs. Senior Madison Kelliher as 2-for-3 with the home run, a double, and two RBI’s. Junior pitcher Gylian Hixenbaugh recorded seven strikeouts and allowed only one hit.

Independence

No. 7 Barnegat 10, Brick Memorial 0 (6 innings)

Junior pitcher Gianna Gomez struck out 12 batters and allowed just one walk in four innings, as the Bengals (13-0, 9-0) clinched the outright division title for the second year in a row with a win over the Mustangs (4-9, 3-7). Kylie Perez struck out six batters in two innings of relief. Gomez tallied a hit and three RBI’s as the plate. Senior SS Riley Schmidt was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs. Senior LF Eva Watts went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run.

No. 10 Toms River East 8, Point Beach 2

Sophomore 3B Alexa DeMarco went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and three runs, to lead a 15-hit effort from the Raiders (10-2, 8-2) in a victory over the Garnet Gulls (3-11, 1-8). Freshman DP Layla Hatton was 1-for-3 with three RBI’s. Senior LF Addison Gallagher finished 3-for-3 with two walks and two runs. Junior SS Kylie Paladino batted 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs. Junior RF Mackenzie Tarzia was 2-for-4 with a triple. Freshman pitcher Brianna DeLima recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed six hits and two walks in the win.

Junior LF Vivian Anderson went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the loss. Sophomore CF Eden Neuwirth hit an RBI double.

Toms River South 9, New Egypt 7

Sophomore 1B Mikayla Lindemann went 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, four RBI’s, and a run to lead the Indians (7-8, 5-5) past the Warriors (5-8, 3-7). Senior 3B Kylee Risk was 1-for-2 with a walk and two RBI’s. Junior LF Samantha DiNicola batted 2-for-2 with a walk, an RBI, and three runs.

Liberty

Toms River North 2, Trinity Hall 0

Freshman pitcher Julianna Garofalo pitched a gem, striking out eight batters and allowing only two hits and a walk, as the Mariners (8-5, 8-1) blanked the Monarchs (5-5, 4-4) to clinch the division title for the first time since 2018. The Mariners scored their first run in the top of the 3rd inning after freshman LF Lilly Bossow reached first base on a 2-out error, advanced on a wild pitch, and then scored on another error. Toms River North added an insurance run in the top of the 7th inning after back-to-back singles from senior CF Camryn Lynch and senior 2B McKayla Buchy led to Lynch stealing third base and then scoring on a passed ball.

Junior pitcher Emma Mullins recorded 16 strikeouts in the loss and allowed just two hits and one walk.

Rumson-Fair Haven 9, Manchester 4

Freshman C Juliana Vaclavik went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI’s, and two runs, as the Bulldogs (1-4, 1-4) earned their first victory of the season over the Hawks (8-6, 6-4). Freshman 2B Hunter Parsons was 3-for-4 with two RBI’s. Freshman 1B Keira McNeil batted 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, and three runs. Junior pitcher Mia Missig struck out eight batters and allowed six hits and four walks.

Lacey 7, Red Bank 1

Freshman Savannah Wilkins went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and three RBI’s, as the Lions (4-10, 4-4) beat the Bucs (2-9, 1-8). Sophomore Jailyn Farris was 2-for-4 with two RBI’s and a run. Senior Chloe Emmons batted 2-for-4 with an RBI. Freshman pitcher Marley Lombardi recorded nine strikeouts and allowed only three hits and two walks.
