Toms River North 64, Lacey 40
Senior Sherrod Nelson put up 25 points and five steals and the Mariners rode a 26-4 run during the first-half run to pull away with a win over the Lions.
Sophomore Wesley Tanner added 12 points, five assists and six steals and junior Bryce Kazanowsky chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds for Toms River North.
Senior Jon Stabile posted 10 points and 15 rebounds while classmates Anthony Mazza and D.J. Duffy each scored 11 points to lead Lacey.
Brick 86, Raritan 79 (2 OT)
Senior Jayden Johnson posted a triple-double with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists and was part of a trio that combined for 67 points in a Green Dragons win over the Rockets in double-overtime.
Johnson also delivered one of two last-second, game-tying baskets for Brick, with Johnson scoring on a layup to pull the Green Dragons even just before time expired in the first overtime.
Sophomore Jamel Pitts scored 24 points, handed out six assists and also hit a three-pointer from the corner to tie the game in the final seconds of regulation. Sophomore Sean Nausedas was the third head of the dragon, finishing with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Senior Sean Burnett and sophomore Eric Burg each scored 18 points for Raritan, with Burnett hauling in seven rebounds as well. Junior Ian Mullan and freshman Mario Diamantis each contributed 16 points in the loss, with Mullan also dishing out three assists.
Manchester 72, Jackson Liberty 58
Senior Aidan Lunn scored a game-high 23 points and his first basket of the night pushed him past the 1,000-point mark of his varsity career as part of a Hawks win over the Lions.
Lunn reached the milestone with a drive to the basket early in the first quarter and he got a 15-point supporting effort from classmate M.J. Goins in the win. Junior Aiden Brown scored 17 points and sophomore Aidan Kelly chipped in 16 to lead Jackson Liberty.
Red Bank Catholic 63, Wall 53
Junior James Hankowski buried six three-pointers on the way to a game-high 21 points and the Caseys closed the game on an 11-1 to pull away with a road win over the Crimson Knights in a tune-up battle between two top-10 seeds in the Shore Conference Tournament.
Senior Sean Saxton scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half to help put the game on ice for RBC. Senior Brian McKenna, meanwhile, led Wall with 21 points.
Non-Conference
South River 64, Matawan 62
Freshman Cayson Williams led three Matawan players in double-figure scoring with 18 points, but it was not enough for the Huskies to overcome the Rams and standout senior guard Alex Grospe.
Grospe finished with 31 points, six rebounds, 11 assists and three steals to lead South River.
Amir Martinez scored 17 points and junior Ben Morales chipped in 15 for Matawan.
Keyport 87, Thomas Edison EnergySmart 23
New Egypt 69, Florence 66
Junior Nolan Arnold scored a game-high 28 points and combined with classmate Ryan Reynolds to hit nine of his team’s 12 three-pointers as the Warriors mounded a furious fourth-quarter comeback to upend the Flashes.
Reynolds scored all 15 of his points on five three-pointers for New Egypt, which outscored Florence, 25-11, in the fourth quarter. Juniors Clyde Ferris and Evan Goldberg each added nine points and junior Cameron Cassandra chipped in eight in the win.
Pinelands 53, Atlantic Christian 52
Junior Josh Barongo banked in a heave from three-quarter court as time expired and the Wildcats pulled out a stunner at the buzzer. Barongo led Pinelands with 19 points and senior Ty Kline threw in 18 in the win at the buzzer.

Toms River East 65, Academy Charter 40
Sophomore Chase Baillie scored 18 points and went 4-for-4 from beyond the three-point arc to highlight a Raiders win over the Panthers. Freshman Tommy Intintola added 16 points and seven rebounds and classmate Brady Gillen chipped in 13 points and five assists for Toms River East.
