Jackson Memorial 48, Brick Memorial 46
Freshman Mi’Aire Anderson scored 15 points and junior Jimmy Pappalardo chipped in 14 to lead the Jaguars (2-7, 1-1) over the Mustangs (7-3, 1-1), snapping Jackson Memorial’s seven-game losing streak by handing Brick Memorial just its third loss.
Junior Sean Collins scored a game-high 17 points to go with five steals to lead Brick Memorial. Junior Jason Lajara added nine points, eight rebounds and six assists and senior Joe Witter chipped in nine points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots in the loss.
No. 2 Manasquan 63, Point Boro 19
Senior Griffin Linstra scored 21 points and pulled in eight rebounds as the Warriors (8-1, 2-1) locked down the Panthers (7-2, 0-2) for a convincing win.
Sophomore Rey Weinseimer chipped in eight points and five rebounds, senior Dan McManus netted nine points and senior Keegan Hertel contributed eight for Manasquan, which led, 46-5, with two minutes left in the third quarter.
Class A South
No. 4 Central 66, Manchester 58
Senior Jaycen Santucci scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out six assists to push the Golden Eagles (7-1, 2-0) to a win over the Hawks (1-8, 0-2).
Senior Royalty Riley added 13 points, sophomore Derek Roth chipped in 12 points and six rebounds, and senior Jayson King and junior Elijah Reeder each pitched in eight. King and Reeder each made a bid for a double-double, with King dishing out nine assists and Reeder pulling in seven rebounds.
Senior Aidan Lunn led Manchester with 20 points and eight rebounds, with freshman Justin Roberts adding 16 points and five assists. Junior Malik Pharmes added nine points and senior M.J. Goins pitched in eight in the loss.
Donovan Catholic 63, No. 9 Southern 54
Senior Ryan Jacobs scored a game-high 26 points and the Donovan Catholic supporting cast proved to be the difference as the Griffins (4-6, 2-0) knocked off the Rams (6-3, 1-1) in Toms River.
Junior Kai Pritchard added 12 points for Donovan Catholic, which got scoring from nine different players and outscored Southern, 17-7, during the second quarter.
Sophomore Noah Perna scored 24 points and junior Jake Sliwinski added 17 to lead Southern, which got just 13 points from the rest of its roster in the loss.
Toms River North 68, Toms River South 48
Senior Mekai Morse led a well-rounded scoring effort with 16 points and the Mariners (4-4, 1-1) rolled to a win over the crosstown rival Indians (2-7, 0-2).
Senior Sherrod Nelson, freshman Jake Greenberg and junior Jayden Thomas each scored eight points, while junior Bryce Kazanowsky, sophomore Logan Brill and sophomore Wesley Tanner each pitched in six for Toms River North.
Junior Shane Gambarony scored a game-high 21 points to lead Toms River South and junior Jacob Myers scored all 10 of his points in the second half.
Class B Central
Point Beach 61, Neptune 33
Junior Jacob Edgecomb scored 14 of his game-high 19 points in the second half, during which the Garnet Gulls (5-4, 2-0) turned a close game into a rout of the Scarlet Fliers (7-2, 1-1), ending Neptune’s five-game winning streak.
The two teams traded runs during the first half, with Neptune scoring the first four points, followed by an 11-0 run by Point Beach. Neptune scored the last two points of the first quarter to start a 16-1 run that put the Scarlet Fliers ahead, 20-12. Point Beach closed the half on an 8-1 run, then scored the first eight points of the third quarter to make it consecutive, opposing 16-1 runs.
That 16-1 turned into a 22-2 run that pushed Point Beach’s lead into double digits and at one point, Point Beach outscored Neptune, 36-5, during a 17-minute stretch.
Junior Elijah Ives added nine points in the balanced Point Beach scoring effort and sophomore Danny Cavanaugh pitched in eight points in the win. Senior JayVion Rogers scored 15 points and classmate Jayden Myrthil scored all nine of his points in the first half to lead Neptune.
Wall 55, New Egypt 35
Junior Dan Hennessy scored a game-high 19 points and the Crimson Knights (8-2, 1-0) coasted to a win over the Warriors (2-6, 0-2), extending their winning streak to seven.
Junior Jake DeBrito added 12 points on four three-pointers and senior Brian McKenna and junior Liam Killea each chipped in eight points for Wall. Junior Nolan Arnold scored 11 points to lead New Egypt, with classmate Clyde Ferris kicking in eight.
Jackson Liberty 67, Lakewood 32
Sophomore Aidan Kelly scored 24 points to go with seven steals and the Lions (3-3, 1-1) rolled to a win over the Piners (2-3, 0-1) for their second win in as many nights.
Junior Aiden Brown added 12 points for Jackson Liberty, while junior Cris Rosario poured in 16 to account for half of Lakewood’s scoring.
Class B South
Barnegat 62, Brick 49
Senior Cole Toddings scored 18 points and became the progam’s all-time leading rebounding while grabbing 12 boards for the game as the Bengals (5-4, 1-1) snapped a four-game skid with a win over the Green Dragons (4-6, 1-1).
Senior Mason Krey added 16 points and senior Todd Muhammad pitched in eight for Barnegat. Freshman Jaylen Johnson scored 11 points to lead Brick, with senior Jayden Johnson contributing 10 and sophomore Jamel Pitts netting nine in the loss.
Non-Division
Manalapan 80, Lacey 52
Senior Aidan Sosinov drained 33 points and the Braves (4-3) rode a hot-shooting game to a win over the Lions (2-6).
Junior Dean Aviles added 18 points and sophomore Spencer Schoenfeld chipped in 14 for Manalapan. Senior Frank Smith posted 18 points and 13 rebounds and senior Jon Stabile added 12 points and nine rebounds to lead Lacey. Senior D.J. Duffy also scored nine points on three three-pointers in the loss to go with five steals.
Non-Conference
Henry Hudson 67, Roselle Park 49
Senior Jack Fitzpatrick led four Henry Hudson players in double-figure scoring with 25 points and the Admirals (6-3) picked up a road win over the Panthers (0-7). Junior Billy Quinn scored 13 points, sophomore JoJo Newell netted 12 and senior Kevin Pharo pitched in 10 for Henry Hudson.
Keansburg 57, Koinonia 56
Senior Ja’Zier Wynn scored a career-high 23 points and the Titans (4-5) edged Koinonia (2-6) on the road. Junior A’Son Young added 10 points and senior Gary Friberg contributed nine for Keansburg.

Faith Family Charter (Tx.) 69, No. 1 St. Rose 60
Junior Jayden Hodge, sophomore Avery Lynch and senior Evan Romano combined for 50 points, but it was not enough to carry the Purple Roses (5-4) to a win over Faith Family Charter (12-5) out of Dallas area.
Hodge and Lynch each scored a game-high 17 points, with Hodge grabbing nine rebounds and Lynch dealing three assists. Romano poured in 16 points and also handed out three assists.
