Ewing 57, Donovan Catholic 41
Senior Joel Cineus led a balanced scoring effort with 14 points and the Blue Devils pulled away for a win over the Griffins. Junior Terrance Taylor added 13 points and classmate Kris Thomas pitched in 12 for Ewing.
Senior James Gibbons scored a game-high 18 points to lead Donovan Catholic.
No. 5 Rumson-Fair Haven 69, Robbinsville 35
Senior Luke Cruz nabbed MVP honors with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four steals and the Bulldogs snapped their two-game skid with a rout of the Ravens.
Senior Carson Memmott added 10 points, six rebounds and three steals while classmate David Carr netted nine points for Rumson-Fair Haven.
No. 6 Red Bank 57, Toms River North 36
Sophomore Justin Valentino scored a team-high 14 points to lead four Red Bank players in double-figures as the Bucs took care of the Mariners.
Senior Zayier Dean posted 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists, senior Ronald Richardson scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half to go with nine rebounds, and senior Ryan Fisher pitched in 10 points and seven rebounds for Red Bank.
Freshman Jake Greenberg led Toms River North with nine points.
No. 1 St. Rose 50, Montgomery 48
Junior Jayden Hodge scored a game-high 19 points to go with five rebounds and five steals in leading the Purple Roses to a win over the Cougars, snapping Montgomery’s 10-game winning streak.
St. Rose got off to slow starts in both the first and third quarters and Hodge jumpstarted them back into the game at each point. After St. Rose entered the first quarter down, 14-7, Hodge scored nine 11 points in the second to send the Purple Roses to the locker room ahead, 30-27.
Montgomery opened the third on a 9-1 run and Hodge swung back by scoring six points in under a minute, including a pair of baskets off steals in the back court. He later made a go-ahead floater to give St. Rose a 45-44 lead in the fourth quarter and one possession later, freshman Oymere Rene hit a three-pointer to put St. Rose up 48-46.
The Purple Roses turned the ball over while leading 50-48, giving Montgomery one last chance to score. Junior Ethan Lin’s long three-pointer at the buzzer came up short and St. Rose escaped with the win.
Senior Bryan Ebeling added 11 points for St. Rose, while Christian Hill led Montgomery with 12 points. Senior Bohdan Biekietov added 11 points and Lin finished with 10 in the loss.
No. 3 Central 53, Monroe 34
Senior Jaycen Santucci scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second half and added five rebounds, four assists and five steals as the Golden Eagles pulled away for a win over the Falcons.
The teams were tied, 16-16, late in the second quarter and Central scored the last three points of the half, then outscored Monroe, 19-7, in the third quarter to take a commanding 38-21 advantage.
Senior Jayson King added 11 points for Central, which extended its winning streak to eight.
Rutgers Prep 73, No. 7 Freehold Boro 47
Sophomore Andrew Kretkowski scored a showcase-high 27 points and the Argonauts raced past the Colonials. Senior Brian Tassey led Rutgers Prep with 18 points and classmate Aidan Hamlin-Woolfolk added 14 in the loss.

No. 9 Southern 43, Atlantic Tech 42
Junior Jake Sliwinski scored 22 points, grabbed seven rebounds, handed out three assists and plucked three steals to carry the Rams to a win over the Red Hawks.
Senior Cooper Dempsey added nine points on three three-pointers with three assists for Southern, which played without sophomore Noah Perna due to illness, according to coach John Pampalone.

Middletown North 55, Achievement First (N.Y.) 53
Senior Colin Byrne scored 23 points and the Lions overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit with a 16-5 run that closed out a win over Achievement First of Brooklyn. Middletown North will play Cristo Rey of Philadelphia Sunday at 8 a.m. to finish up its stay in Springfield.

Long Branch 42, Lakewood 34
Josh Guzman scored 12 points and teammates Quentin Fisher and Cameron DeJesus each added 10 as the trio led the Green Wave to a road win over the Piners.
Sophomore Isaiah Shade scored 11 points and junior Ronny Cuevas added 10 to lead Lakewood.
Neptune 58, Brick Memorial 40
Senior Jayvion Rogers led a balanced scoring effort with 14 points and junior Jordan Pierre turned in a double-double to lead the Scarlet Fliers to a win over the Mustangs.
Pierre and senior Jaden Myrthil each scored 11 points, with Pierre also pulling in 11 rebounds. Senior Darren Fonrose also posted nine points and 13 rebounds and junior Shakur Faniel contributed seven points and seven assists.
Junior Sean Collins scored 13 points and senior Joe Witter netted 10 to lead Brick Memorial.
Holmdel 75, No. 10 Ranney 72
Junior Jack Vallillo poured in 24 points and the Hornets held off the Panthers to score a big road win to close out another strong week.
Senior C.J. Karis added 18 points, senior Ire Adesina threw in 11 points and both senior Daxx Corneiro and freshman Anthony Serini scored eight apiece for Holmdel.
Point Beach 58, Pinelands 39
Senior Scot Crowley scored a team-high 19 points and the Garnet Gulls nailed down a win over the Wildcats by holding them to nine points in the second half.
Sophomore George Breckenridge added 15 points and junior Jacob Edgecomb threw in 11 for Point Beach. Senior Ty Kline led Pinelands with a game-high 24 points.
Shore 58, Raritan 42
Junior Ryan Barham scored all 16 of his points in the second half and the Blue Devils rolled to a win over the Rockets.
Senior Bryce Crowe poured in 15 points and sophomore Maddox Paulin chipped in 13 for Shore, which shot 17-for-18 from the free-throw line as a team. Senior Xavier Nunez led Raritan with 14 points and juniors Ian Mullan and James Dillon each chipped in 12 in the loss.
No. 4 CBA 66, Red Bank Catholic 61
Senior Kevin Pikiell and junior Charlie Marcoullier each scored 16 points and the Colts held off a push from the Caseys to win the Founder’s Cup rivalry game.
Marcoullier was making his first appearance in five games after missing the last four with an ankle injury. Junior Gavin Marlin also netted nine points and junior Connor Andree contributed eight for CBA.
Senior Ryan Prior scored a game-high 22 points and sophomore Gavin Biasi knocked down 19 to lead Red Bank Catholic, which closed a 12-point halftime deficit to two at two different junctures of the fourth quarter. RBC had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer in the last 10 seconds, but senior Justin Fuerbacher blocked Prior’s attempt out of the corner and senior Charlie Messano made two free throws with five seconds left to close it out for CBA.

Senior Cole Newman connected on four three-pointers in the first quarter on the way to a game-high 21 points and a Mustangs road win over the Little Tigers.
Sophomore Dylan McEwan added nine points and sophomore Nolan Gong and senior Joey Crue each pitching in eight, with Crue scoring all of his points in the second quarter.
Howell 48, Hamilton West 39
Senior Peter Barkauskas scored 17 points and the Rebels rolled to a win over the Hornets. Sophomore Cayden Parker also chipped in nine points for Howell.
Spotswood 62, New Egypt 49
Junior Nolan Arnold scored a game-high 22 points, but the Warriors could not keep pace with the Chargers.
Point Boro 85, Steinert 36
Sophomore Hunter Hynes led four Point Boro players in double-figure scoring with 21 points and the Panthers routed the Spartans.
Junior Jovin Steinmetz added 14 points and six points, Landon Hoyle poured in 12 points to go with eight rebounds and senior Drew Cardia pitched in 11 pointers, eight assists and six steals for Point Boro.
