Class A Central
No. 4 St. Rose 59, No. 6 Howell 46
Up one point going into the fourth quarter, St. Rose outscored Howell 21-9 to closeout the game and avoid the upset. Senior Cassidy Kruesi continues to step-up in the biggest games, draining four 3-pointers and finishing with 18 points. Junior Jada Lynch finished with a game-high 19 points for the Purple Roses. Sophomore Kylee Beam finished with a team-high 17 points for Howell.
No. 1 Manasquan 62, Neptune 32
Manasquan started out with a 12-6 lead after the first quarter and kept adding to that every quarter. Senior Grace Love knocked down three 3-points to finish with 10 points and Kayden Clark scored a game-high 15 points to lead Manasquan to their 13th win of the season.
Class A South
Toms River East 44, Toms River North 33
Trailing by two points at halftime, the Raiders outscored rival TRN 26-13 in the second half to win their 13th game of the season. Sophomore Libby Dickman scored a career-high 16 points and Adrianna Cruz added 8 points for TRE. Junior Cara Sarluca knocked down three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 11 points for TRN.
Class B Central
No. 10 Point Boro 61, Point Beach 38
Leading 28-15 at halftime, Point Boro outscored Point Beach 18-8 in the third quarter to seal their 14th win of the season. Senior Vanessa Haas tied a season-high 25 points to lead Point Boro and Sarah Dahl added 12 points. Senior Erin Frauenheim scored a team-high 14 points for Point Beach.
Brick Memorial 37, New Egypt 25
Trailing 9-0 to start the game, the Mustangs climbed back and had a dominant second half on the defensive side of the floor to outscore New Egypt 26-10 to closeout the game. Senior Liana Lopena scored a game-high 13 points and Olivia Emanuel added 8 points for Brick Memorial. Senior Brooke DeAlmeida had an excellent game on the defensive side of the floor, holding Madison Adam to 8 points. DeAlmeida also had four steals and 5 assists in the game.
Class B South
Toms River South 49, Pinelands 6
TRS scored 20 points in the first quarter on their way to their 8th win of the season. They had 10 different players score and 8 scored 3 or more points in the game. Madeline Krohn scored a game-high 9 points and both Kassidy Colangelo and Linsey Cribbin both added 7 points for the Indians.
Barnegat 66, Brick Township 60
Seniors Emma Thornton and Riley Fitzpatrick exploded with a combined 51 points to lead Barnegat past Brick. Thornton finished with a 26 point and 14 rebound double-double performance while Fitzpatrick finished with 25 points and Senior Zemirah Enalls chipped in 8 points to go along with 16 rebounds in the win for the Bengals. Senior Riley Nausedas scored a team-high 24 points and Freshman Ariana Wissen added 16 points in the loss for the Dragons.
Non-Divisional
Southern 53, Manalapan 44
Trailing by 8 points at halftime, Southern outscored Manalapan 18-6 in the fourth quarter to win their 5th game of the season. Senior Casey Collins scored a game-high 22 points and Mackenzie Sininsky added 13 points for Southern. Senior Laila Hagan scored a team-high 15 points for Manalapan.
Lacey 38, Raritan 33
Tied at halftime, Lacey shut Raritan out in the third quarter and built a 13 point lead on their way to their 9th win of the season. Reece Paget and Brooklyn Bell both put up double-doubles with Paget scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and Bell scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Brooke Shea scored a team-high 13 points for Raritan.
Non-Conference
Freehold Boro 62, Nottingham 32
Freehold Boro came out strong in the first half to build a 37-12 lead to win their 11th game of the season. Two players had a double-double for the Colonials and three players scored double-digits. Sophomore Olivia Batchelor scored a career-high 22 points for Freehold Boro and Sayuri Penaranda (21 points, 11 rebounds) and Christina Sikaras (18 points, 10 assists) had the double-doubles.
Shore 65, Robbinsville 33
Shore jumped out to a 22-6 lead in the first quarter to win their 9th game of the season in a non-conference match-up. Senior Kimi Sayson scored a game-high 20 points and reached the 1,000 point milestone for Shore Regional. Senior Reese Fiore scored 12 points and Ava Coyle added 10 points for the Blue Devils.
