Middletown North 25, Raritan 0

The Lions (3-3, 3-3) shut out the Rockets (2-4, 2-4) as the defense registered six interceptions, including three by Maddie Mattos and two by Sienna Perkins, who also returned one of them for a touchdown.

Kaelyn Gibson added an interception to contribute to the defensive effort. Ayva Reid had a 70-yard touchdown catch, and Perkins also caught two touchdown passes from Paige Marrone to give her three for the game.

St. John Vianney 20, Matawan 7

Central

Freehold Boro 33, Ranney 6 

Freshman quarterback Cheridan Huesser tossed two touchdown passes and a two-point conversion to freshman wideout Mackenzie Sims, as the Colonials (1-5, 1-5) routed the Panthers (0-5, 0-5) for their first win in program history.

Huesser found Sims on touchdowns of 70 and 23 yards. Sophomore wideout Alison Espinoza scored on a 56-yard rushing touchdown. Junior running back Skylynn Chapman carried the ball five times for 62 yards including a 26-yard touchdown run. Senior wideout Brielle Loize also scored on a four-yard touchdown run. Junior wideout/safety Shea Patmore scored on a one-point conversion run and recorded an interception on defense. Junior linebackers Gabriella Baralus and Isabella Napolitano also came away with an interception on defense.

South

Pinelands 27, Manasquan 0

Quarterback Heidi Cyphert was 13-for-15 passing for 148 yards and three touchdowns to help the Wildcats (6-1, 6-1) blank the Warriors (4-3, 4-3) to bounce back from their first loss of the season.

Wide receiver Madison Fontanes had 7 catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns, and Bree McCorry added 4 catches for 68 yards and a score in the win.

Jayla Kline led the defensive effort with 10 tackles, two for a loss, and two sacks, as well as an interception. Shaley Bennett also added an interception, and Julianne Platti chipped in with two sacks.

Central 27, New Egypt 0

Junior quarterback Keely Gifford threw three touchdown passes and ran for another, as the Golden Eagles (5-2, 5-2) blanked the Warriors (4-2, 4-2).

Sophomore wideout Olivia Delmonico hauled in nine receptions for 116 yards including a 15-yard touchdown. Freshman wideout Madeline Gall caught a seven-yard touchdown. Senior Meadow McCann had a two-yard touchdown reception. In addition to the touchdown passes, Gifford rushed for a three-yard touchdown and found Delmonico and Gall on one-point conversions. Senior wideout Kaitlyn Massa hauled in a one-point conversion on a pass from Delmonico. Junior Olubusayo Ajao recorded six sacks. Junior Arianna Benzon also recorded a sack. Junior Violet Makulinski came away with an interception.
