Holmdel 27, St. John Vianney 14

Sophomore quarterback Claire Gillespie threw three touchdown passes, including a 66-yarder to senior wideout Rachel Yasnowski, a 17-yarder to junior wideout Lia Gordon, and a 27-yarder to sophomore wideout Sophia Kern on her way to a career-high 220 yards passing to lead the Hornets (6-0, 6-0) past the Lancers (3-2, 3-2). Junior wideout Christianna Ishak added a 6-yard touchdown run.

Gillespie also threw for an extra point and ran for two other extra points.

Sophomore quarterback Gabriella Castellanos tossed a 32-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wideout Ava Lepore and rushed for a 6-yard touchdown in the loss.

Middletown South 36, Middletown North 18

Senior quarterback Cameryn Czwakiel tossed three touchdown passes and rushed for two more to lead the Eagles (4-1, 4-1) past the rival Lions (2-3, 2-3).

Senior Kaleigh Kapler added a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown. Sophomore Phoebe Zimmerman hauled in a receiving touchdown and recorded an interception on defense. Senior Melina Savo also caught a touchdown pass.

Ayva Reid had a big game in the loss for Middletown North with a 60-yard touchdown run, a touchdown catch from quarterback Paige Marrone and two interceptions on defense.

Sienna Perkins also had a touchdown catch from Marrone.

Central

Manalapan 26, Marlboro 7

Senior Lyla Ottenheimer carried the ball 11 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns, as the Braves (1-3, 1-3) defeated the rival Mustangs (3-4, 3-4).

Senior quarterback Guilianna Naletilic was 10-for-14 passing with 108 yards and two touchdowns. Junior wideout Kyra Greenberg hauled in six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. Senior Olivia Ziobro caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown. Greenberg and Kyla Rai Nieves each recorded 1-point conversions.

Trinity Hall 49, Freehold Boro 7

Sophomore quarterback Sonia DeRosa was 17-of-28 passing with 151 yards and four touchdowns, as the Monarchs (4-0, 4-0) routed the Colonials (0-5, 0-5).

Senior wideout Maddie Rigney hauled in seven receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Tatum Morrison caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown. Junior Clementine Radocchio caught a 13 yard touchdown pass. Freshman Maddie Dougherty was 3-for-5 passing for 58 yards and rushed three times for 15 yards and a touchdown. Senior Emily Venezia was a ball magnet in the secondary, recording four interceptions. Morrison and CC Galinski reach recorded a sack.

Colts Neck 26, Neptune 7

Junior Olivia Brown rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to compiling 42 receiving yards and a touchdown, as the Cougars (5-2, 5-2) handed the Scarlet Fliers (3-1, 3-1) their first loss. Junior Victoria Beninato added a rushing touchdown and seven tackles. Amanda Garfield also recorded seven tackles.

Senior Nylah Sapp returned a punt for a touchdown in the loss.

South

Howell 19, Manchester 0

Senior quarterback Payton Smith tossed two touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown and a 1-point conversion to lead the Rebels (3-4, 3-4) past the Hawks (1-5, 1-5).

Smith was 12-for-15 passing with 109 yards and carried the ball 11 times for 91 yards including a 22-yard touchdown run. Freshman Rachel Weng hauled in three receptions for 59 yards including a 45-yard touchdown. Freshman Sydney Petralia caught a 3-yard touchdown. Senior Katelyn Kimball and sophomore Layla Carpenter each recorded an interception. Sophomore Gabriella Robertozzi recorded a sack.

Manasquan 13, Brick Memorial 6

Junior running back Gabby Restivo ran the ball 11 times for 156 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown, as the Warriors (4-2, 4-2) topped the Mustangs (2-4, 2-4).

Senior quarterback Savanah Lopez completed 13-of-19 passes for 75 yards and found senior wideout Addison Gunnell for a 10 yard touchdown pass. Senior Clare Bannerman recorded two sacks and an interception. Junior Caroline Watson also came away with an interception. Sophomore Ellie Shatkus recorded three sacks and eight total tackles. Senior Annie Dettlinger had five tackles.
