Senior wide receiver/defensive back Maya Houston recorded two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown, and caught two passes for 14 yards and a touchdown as the Hornets (5-0, 5-0) routed the Admirals (0-4, 0-4). Sophomore quarterback Claire Gillespie was 5-for-6 passing for 34 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore quarterback Julia Kern hoisted a 24-yard touchdown pass on her only attempt. Junior Audrey Franco was 3-for-4 passing for 20 yards and a touchdown. Senior running back Brea Gallo rushed four times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Junior wideout Anastastia Ustinova ran for a 5-yard touchdown. Senior wideout Rachel Yasnowski hauled in a 24-yard touchdown reception. Sophomore wideout Emma Jackstadt caught an 11-yard touchdown.
Gallo and senior defensive back Eva Pallante each recorded a sack on defense. Yasnowski recorded an interception.
Rumson-Fair Haven 33, Raritan 9
Keansburg 13, Middletown South 12
The Titans (1-3, 1-3) stunned the Eagles (3-1, 3-1) for their first win of the season, which also put Holmdel alone in first place in the North Division.
The Titans got touchdowns from senior stars Gabbie Flanzbaum and Princess Graves, and Graves also added an interception on defense. Junior safety Gianna Bettinger added an interception, while senior Avyanna Perrin and sophomore Nariyah Mathis each had a sack.
Central
Neptune 41, Manalapan 20
Junior Lana Ellington had three interceptions, one of which she returned for a touchdown, along with 93 yards rushing and a touchdown, and junior Nylah Sapp ran for 140 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries as the Scarlet Fliers (3-0, 3-0) remained unbeaten with a win over the Braves (0-4, 0-4).
Freshman quarterback Giuliana Alfano threw for 126 yards and a touchdown and senior Lyla Ottenheimer had a huge game in the loss for the Braves with 208 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Senior Guilanna Naletilic also had a 30-yard touchdown catch.
Freehold Township 20, Marlboro 6
The Patriots (3-2, 3-2) topped the Mustangs (3-2, 3-2) behind two touchdown passes from sophomore Skyler Rauch, who also ran for 103 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
Senior Chloe Glickman and sophomore Shiloh Harris each had six catches, and Glickman had a pair of touchdown grabs.
Rauch had nine flag pulls to lead the defense, and junior Sihera Karce added seven.
Colts Neck 38, Ranney 6
Freshman Daryn Heal caught a touchdown and ran for a score, and four other players each found the end zone once as the Cougars (4-2, 4-2) won their fourth straight game by topping the Panthers (0-3, 0-3).
Juniors Victoria Beninato, Caitlin Bain and Olivia Brown, and freshman Ashley Tiedemann each had a touchdown in the win.
Brown and freshman Jules Vacirca each had an interception to help lead the defense. Freshman Jayden Solon had four tackles for a loss, junior Amanda Garfield had three tackles for a loss and two sacks, and junior Piper Riso and sophomore Kate Harrison each had a tackle for a loss.
Trinity Hall 33, Red Bank Catholic 0
Sophomore quarterback Sonia DeRosa completed 18-of-27 passes for 168 yards and five touchdowns, as the Monarchs (3-0, 3-0) defeated the Caseys (4-1, 4-1). Maddie Rigney hauled in five receptions for 62 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to recording six tackles on defense. Freshman Maddie Dougherty rushed five times for 36 yards, caught three passes for nine yards and a touchdown, and came away with an interception and six tackles on defense.
South
Pinelands 49, Manchester 0
The Wildcats (5-0, 5-0) rolled past the Hawks (1-4, 1-4) to remain unbeaten as quarterback Heidi Cyphert was sensational with six touchdown passes, two of them to fellow senior Bree McCorry.
Jayla Kline led the defense with eight flag pulls and four sacks.
Howell 6, Brick Memorial 0
Senior quarterback Payton Smith scored on a 2-yard rushing touchdown to propel the Rebels (2-4, 2-4) past the Mustangs (2-3, 3-3). Smith rushed for 125 yards on 13 carries and completed 12-of-17 passes for 45 yards. Junior ZoeLilly Ficcorelli and Layla Carpenter each recorded an interception. Sophomore Gabriella Robertozzi recorded two sacks.
